anybody ever put some diesel in the taxi boot in case taxi run out of fuel?

Got, my ex hirer, a young guy, run whole day one, he use to put 2 bottles of 1.5l filled with diesel for his last trip. When I glanced thru the log book, his clocking is alway 700km and above....wha! limpek want to put my 90km also paiseh. But tia kong he is now in hospital

Have, I saw a hirer at diesel kiosk nozzle goes into boot first
He says dispute with relief , relief always says he did not top up fully
so he ask his relief to help himself to the spare diesel when taking over
in his boot i saw abt 8 botttles of those 4 litres translucent bottles ! no joke

now diesel 50 cents only, so it make sense to fill up spare to stock up
next time when u eat at the kopi shop or prata shop , ask the mama to give u those aluminium canister that contain oil, these cannister can fill up 5 gallons, Huat Ah !

Touch wood, if taxi burnt at orchard road...BOOOMMM!!!...fire men or police may ask, WTF you keep inside, the explosion can be heard even I Q at changi AP. Although diesel hv low flash point, but when contained in bottle, cans or tins, if can explode due to heat and burnt 10X worst than normal material burning. 5 gallon, no joke, I also collect tins, but for burning hell money only. Knn, taxi driver, seibei siao tam one

But how much time will it take to top up n continue driving?
Will lose alot of money just for tat?
Somemore put boot smelly hands dirty take up space etc etc
I still see some taxi boot put untill so many things dunno for wat
Anyway it's ur cab n u pay the rental do wat makes u happy can liao lol

Theres always a cb hirer or a cb relief

I scared after drvg at expressway engine die. But is it allowed to keep some diesel by topping up at their kiosks? Or later get warning letter again!

I use 20L military grade jerry cans. Easy to fill up, easy to dispense into the car. No loss at all. No diesel smell too. But its very expensive hor.

Yalor, but recently he closed my relief driving for him thru eportal. I think give up liao. He was only 37yo, I drove for him abt 1 and a half years, first time see him, already look like 40++, after 1 years, look like 50+ liao...balded, haiz, maybe it is true that he kiam ah along, somemore no season parking one, must park at the upper most open space of multi storey carkpark..knn, limpek climb until legs also pain

Ah fool ah fool, driving must alway be mindful of your fuel mah, you must learn to plan your day, and as cdg kiosks is the all around singapore, an envy by other companies' TD, you should take advantage of this ease of putting fuel wherever possible, know the locations well, from UBi to senoko to changi, this is a niche for your driving. For Cdg cab to stop with no fuel...unlikely, only maybe TC or others -

even if last minute fuel light come on even in town during golden hours, just go top $20 from commerical pump, still can earn back and tong u for a while mah till u get out of town. why add weight and load in your boot?
maybe can ask those with discounted diesel, transfer diesel over, win win situation.
maybe those like prime, TC, no fuel discount, go buy from a CDG driver.

Top up fuel, drive until no fuel...wha, should be driving for more than 600km liao..the simple rule here is at 1/4 fuel left, siew chia liao

Ah fool Ah fool, driving taxi must learn to let go, if time to go home, go home, time to put up fuel, go pick up fuel... even pax going to the moon also put BUSY and fark care them lah, wha lan, you so kiasu for what? Take life easy going, that is what TD should be, then you will be happy... ok.
