Query on holiday rental rate

Hi peeps
Just a quick query on rental rate. Hirer going on one week holiday and wants me (relief) to take over full time. What's the accepted standard rental rate that hirer should cover during this period? Just wanna make sure I don't get short changed.

So, you are consider as his super relief, super relief rate is about 30% less the rental price.

About $90-$100 a day. Same applies to you when you need him to cover for you.

When i cover for hirer, it is half rent. When hirer covers me, also half rent. But I can choose not to cover. He/she cannot force you. If not happy, change hirer. Usually give & take.
But cover full day for a week is quite seong lah....

See what the Hirer offer first, then base on the rates stated here, counter offer lor, if not gum, can reject mah, let Hirer go find his own super relief, guarantee much more lower.

Bro bowah, I already indicate clearly that I'm relief in my post leh.
I'm just his permanent relief, not super. Hirer ask me pay 100 which I guess seems OK according to u guys.

Relief go holiday, the max only pay hirer the full rental he suppose to pay everyday, where got more than that one? Meaning half shift rental......
Maybe now change liao?......

Ayo yo Bro, I am a Hirer for SMRT Prius (Rental $134), Driving Night Shift.
I have a day shift relief, with me for 2 years Plus.
His rental $134 /2 ==>> $67
Last fews months, Every month he went back home (Malaysia) for 4~5 day.
He compensated me $30 / Day for his OFF day. i.e. If he OFF 3 days then he pay me $30 x 3 = $90.
As for me, when he OFF. Every day, I just need to start engine 1 Hrs Early, OK Liao.
What so difficult about cover for your buddy ???

It's not really difficult to recover $100 rental. Anyway it's only for a week. When my turn to go holiday, roles will be reversed. This give n take is useful when hirer n relief have long term arrangement.

Whatever it is, Hirer have the final said, he hired the cab, it is his responsibility, so if price gum, you commit, it is up to you, and whatever a relief look into the pricing, please do include their incentives, rebates and benefits the hirer gets, otherwise, Hirer can laugh all the way to holiday

Relief(night) to dong for hirer(day)? Suddenly ask you change pattern, somemore must cover $100 for rental? Run road la.....

Hirer got rental free day benefits mah, they can use it to offset, and with relief paying, still gain. For relief who do not have a share of the benefits by Hirer, if asked to cover for him, charge as low as possible, because Hirer might be claiming his rental free days.

Capt CT is different, he is a hirer but driving night.....
So his relief (day) only just need to cover his portion of rental and bye bye go holiday liao.....
Capt CT LLSS, got to cover 1 hr earlier which he think is alright, ok la, he got to pay rental to the coy mah, kay tio, in hokkien we say.....
So can see the different?......

Aiya, all these is up to Hirer and Relief decide upon, if gum, we connect like lego block, if not just break it up and each go on with each other life lor. There is no regulations and rules governing relief and hirer pricing, the condition will depend on each other relationship, trust, characteristics and attitude. Just like my relationship with my KTC and his Capt is so fark up, so die die I will not do relief for them, because it will end up with more enemity than friends, as simple as that,..but if it is my ah fool, no problem..can cheat, cheat and cheat

As a hirer, must be prepare to swallow bullet.....
With a relief (night), already bless that he won't lugi the whole rental even go holiday.....
Of course if night relief think that he can dong and crazily pay more to help, by all means.....
I just stating the logic behind it as a reference, not die die must follow......
Becos I know to tell a night driver to become OMO shift is like going to take his life, by agreeing, he is really doing you a big flavour......

Cdg can find super relief for you, but I can tell you, the price they quote is much lower than the market price, and most of these super relief are knn taiko plus bo yiew lan type like me.
