Sunday day shift is the worst. Almost like public holiday. Up till 10am really very little customers.
Furthermore no morning peak-hour surcharge.
Saturday day shift also not so good. No morning peak-hour surcharge and not many customers in the morning.
Most reliefs would not want full day for weekend. Firstly they are less experienced and therefore cannot make enough to justify it. Secondly, they do not have the endurance to last 15 hours to justify paying extra for rental. You have to drive extra 2-3 hours just to pay for the extra rental, after that, how much energy do you have left to make extra money?

Not true at all. I've done Sunday day shift. Very early 6-7am , got calls and street pax - especially for church & sports. Sometimes got school events, community events, errands. After 8 am many pax on street.
Sunday morning got pax one. All the way till 8pm when it slow down until midnight. Still have but must drive further to find pax after midnight plus long queues of green lantern.
What I am saying is relative to weekdays. It also depends on where you are at. So what I usually do is take my lunch earlier than other days then chong all the way after the malls are opened on Sunday. So far, my worst earning day on the average is Sunday. Sunday almost no one going to work so a lot less customers in the early morning.
I make more driving Sat & Sun nights then driving on weekdays except Friday. Weekends are very good for taxi biz and not so stressful because people are not rushing for appts, etc
Sat, Sun one not super relief....they are normal weekend reliefs....Super-reliefs are those that drive when people want to go for holidays. But very hard to find super-reliefs because most people would be working as full-time reliefs if they have the time to drive Mon to Fri.
Weekend reliefs also not easy to find as those who work Mon to Fri in other industries would not have the energy to drive during weekends. If they drive, which day do they rest?
If become super relief will make substantially less than regular relief and regular hirer. Probably only very old cabbies over age of 60 like to become super reliefs as they no longer want to drive long hours especially since they have less financial burdens.
Sala leh super relief is in demand hor
Try booking one then u will know lol
must book ahead wan bcoz their always fully booked
Must ask bro Reliefdriver4u he know better I assume
I know they are in demand but I also said it is hard to find them.
If I want to go off for 3 days say Mon-Wed, very difficult to find super-reliefs. Peak periods like Chinese New Year period even worse.

got 1 lagi funny , one month drive less than 15 days, every mth looking for ppl to help him drive, should have some health conditions, but just hold on to his 101.xx rental because if he rtn taxi to CDG , those blood suckers are gonna charge him 11x.xx rental leow
so, hirer ho tan bo ho tan u tell me
my booking stretch until december 2015 now , if u want to book 2016 CNY start booking now still got chance

make more or less depends on the effort u put in , not because u are super or omo or day shift or nite shift
In taxi driving, time = money , if every day u put in maximum hour and effort during your shift , no need to drive every day oso can get decent income
super relief also can clock long hrs and earn those income, or clock minimum hours and earn $30 per day if they so desire, no body is pointing a gun at your head to dictate how u drive
Age of super relief not neccessary over age of 60, my circle of super relief friends range from 31 to 60 plus
