Actually can ask cdg to send pax a copy of the receipt. If pax dun want to pay the I will send him to the police station. No free ride in this world. If it is not my fault then I will stand firm. What happen to me the other day also pay want to pay cashless but my cashless terminal is at company doing upgrading. I show him a copy of the company letter but he refuse to pay. Then no choice I tell him to go police station to settle the dispute. He then suddenly have the money to pay me.
Bro, this is one of cabbies worst nightmare. Everything went wrong. I have met CDG limocabs who got a puctured tyre along ECP after waiting 45mins for their arrival job. Guess what? They had to call their kaki to faster come and take over the job. The E-class cabby lost his fare and had to pay for tow truck. You lost only $20. He lost more than that and lost even more time. Hope this makes u feel better.
U only reset 3 times nia I reset till lost count
Even call cdg driver call centre then they will try to reset on their side
I've call afew times to reset it did wrk but must waste 10-15mins for tis!
Knn my farking mdt hang like no tmr/no signal/no sound/sudden blackout etc etc
I must be really really suay to get tis farking mdt
Ccb even my ex lau kok sonata mdt was much better
Knn take over brand new cab but issue re con old model mdt
Within 3mths went to repair 3 times but still same prob
Knn repair mdt no joke leh must wait v long wan n no down time!
My day relief went to repair all the time
Then one day tulan till max went there myself
The farking technician yaya papaya tok big wen I told him repair so many times still same prob
Knn ccb then I raise my voice n told him off
Then the supervisor came in n auto
Within minutes change new mdt tune here there
Problem solved!!!
Must blame the farking mdt for causing all tis unnecessary issues la If u ask me

yes, i agree with this. pay up first. We can get company to liaise with pax later for a receipt.

sometimes i feel there should be a least two meter / mdt workshops in SG. maybe one in braddell (more centralised) and one in sin ming

Today 1st May 2015 at around 11.30pm I accepted a call booking to pick up a passenger from Marina Bay Financial Center Tower 3 to Jurong Point taxi stand.

Passenger wanted to pay by ezlink and also required a receipt to claim from his company the taxi fare.
Due to failure of the MDT, I am unable to issue a receipt to the passenger.

As a result the passenger refused to make payment for the trip.
Therefore I did not receive any payment from the passenger.
The taxi fare is around $20 inclusive of the call booking fee.
Since CDG has stopped issuing manual receipt, I am also unable to issue a manual receipt to the passenger.
I have lost my time, effort, diesel consumption cost and taxi rental cost due to the MDT failure in lieu of non-payment from the passenger. In addition, I am required to make a levy payment to CDG for the call booking.
Could you look into my case and I hope to get a favourable reply from you.
Your reply could also determine how I handle a non-paying passenger in future circumstances with similar occurrence.

Ya lah I bo give chance one. Last time I last day CDG Limo too AJ from Rivergate Condo to Aussie school. Cos I returning cab. Then this AMK bu yaya want to use credit card cos she bo lui. Teacher lai de. Then I says machine spoil. She upon reaching then tell me. If says earlier and nicely I still let her use. She just chut her CC upon reaching. Of cos buay song lah. Yaya somemore. I says go ATM take she says bky. I suggest she borrow from her friend also bky. Transfer to me also bky. SMLJ also bky. Then shout at me says she can complain to CDG and make me LOSE my JOB!!! Lol
Then she just walk off without paying. Then I go to the school admin KPKB until the GM come out. I give him the details of the name and mobile number. He comes back with 3 pictures ask me to id her. Straightaway I ID the cb and he pays me the fare. Then later I shoot email to the school Principal she kanna jia liat jia liat. KNNBCCB if is a student I can understand lah. Ginna mah. But she is a teacher leh. This kind of behaviour I says in my email is UNACCEPTABLE!!! Then later they tell me she is a part time teacher and they terminate her contract with immediate effect. Lol now who lose the job? Song bo!!!!
Actually you got his particular can just lodge a police report and let the police handle him.

Ya SMRT still got manual receipt. If cashless down can use and put pax credit card number and trip details they can do a manual transaction. Just need pax to sign on the receipt.
