am i right to say hirer as a OMO gets rental and $100/day
and a hirer with relief, whichever party goes for ict, can claim only each party due cost of rental and $80/day
in the 2nd arrangement, while the other party is away for ict, can the remaining party (driver) drives beyond his shift hours, into the other party hours, despite receiving the make up rental?
Refer to with further details and examples:
a. What are the 3 options for a self-employed NSman to claim Make-Up Pay?
The
NSman should choose the option that suits him best for the particular
training. An option once made for a particular training is irrevocable.
Option 1: Income Tax Option
Note: Replacement fee is claimable only if clinic / business is in operation during NS training and the claim is submitted at least 2 weeks before the commencement of NS training.
Meaning to said if going to ICT, if the OMO driver report income (eg. $2500).
Using option 2 for 2 week ICT training is $1250 or using Option 3 which is $2000 (if the car is $100/day)?
So TD here, can point out which option u choose as a hirer?
Lolz, How long can i escape? is more like do it and leave it, no point play with the system.
so anyone have any experience on ICT being a hirer?
1) did you file monthly income for 6mth then choose option 2 for ICT or;
2) report to respective and choose option 3.
which is the best deal?

u can declare as much as u want for the recent 6 months. SAF pays u whichever lower
I checked up with NS portal, they said i can claim the taxi per day rental and reimbus on the income per day as the average taxi driver in singapore.
According to them, they have a group of ppl will guage on the average taxi driver in sg to pay accordingly to the newly became Hirer going for ICT. OR ur last 6 mths income declaration. using the option 2(average income).
other than ICT claiming from NS, How all of You (TD) do your income declaration? Every month? or once a year thing?
