He only 35yo, but look so old and balded liao...limpek 35yo that time, seibei yandao one. So, even if he was a ex taxi driver, it could be only for 5 years, and during those 5 years, could had run from cdg to TC to smrt..., therefore I would said that, for him if he is to go on for 10 years, he might had driven for all companies including grab and uber liao. What he needs is take a personal skill development course and temper management course.

"Temper management" is already part of the first taxi course (the one we took before getting our taxi license). It is known as "rage-control" and they tested it in one of the 4 modules in the exam.

HK actor Chapman To praises Singapore cabby for returning lost wallet
Hong Kong actor Chapman To has praised a local taxi driver for driving back to his hotel to return him his wallet which he had dropped in the cab.
The comedian recounted the incident on his Facebook page on Saturday morning and said he "encountered a good deed in Singapore" on Friday night.
"Just as I was about to go to sleep, I received a call from the hotel manager, who told me that my cab driver was downstairs and wanted to return me my wallet," wrote To.
To then went downstairs to collect his wallet and while thanking the taxi driver, who did not leave his name, offered to give him a tip.
However, the driver told To:
"If I wanted money, why would I return to the hotel? I can just take it from your wallet!"
To then said on Facebook:
"There are many reasons for liking a country and its people is one of the reasons.
"Mr Taxi Driver, even though you refused to tell me your name, I still want to thank you.
"I will donate the tip to charity on your behalf," wrote To. Netizens also heaped praise on the driver for his honesty. One Facebook user RabbitLorna Chui wrote:
"It must have been fate for you to have met a taxi driver who isn't greedy. We should all learn from this."
Another user named Linnie Lee commented:
"Just when you have lost faith in humanity, something good happens. Thank you, Mr Taxi Driver!"

I returned the money purse of a passenger before. Really waste of money and time but have to do it. Drive all the way to 383, put one parking coupon, and spent some time waiting and going through the procedure.
Best thing is customer "Zhi Dong" dont leave anything behind otherwise really cause us to waste a lot of money. Spending 1 hour handling this matter is like losing $15-$30 dollars.
One time one customer that I fetched claimed that I took his mobile phone or tablet and reported to police when I did not even see it. I ended up wasting 2 hours driving to the police station and going through the procedure. I even ended up having to pay an additional parking fine despite putting parking coupon because the car park near the police station was fully occupied and I parked in a non-parking space that I could sequeezed into. One such person cost me more than $100.

Firstly, when pax lost something, it is pax problem, not your problem. Secondly, if pax call you to bring back, if you think it will cut yr into your fare, tell pax that you will charge by meter fare in going back because first rule apply, pax lost thing is pax fault. 3rdly, if pax said, do not want to pay, you just tell pax to go to office lost and found dept to collect. and/.... 4thly, if pax call police, do not get panic, there is no charges yet, tell police that you will come after you finish yr business.

I'm wondering if the taxi companies will always monitor your movements via the MDT. I read and thinks that taxi companies are able to determine whether cabbies travelled to which location at what time.

The records are there....but I doubt they would purposely monitor everyone. Most likely only when customer complained that you purposely took a longer route or during evaluation at 6 month point since you would be on probation for 6 months as a new driver.
Who �饱没大便放 and waste time and resources to sabotage "wealth gods" who are not employees but affliates (except SMRT I believe some new drivers are employees ) ?

I said k lor then I drove bk reach his place n call him
He came down n gave me a $10 note n say thank u smiling
Told him meter is $18++ Wahahaha
He's face change hearing tis then take out another $10 give me n collect he's change

At least he's courteous to you. If locals, maybe want to complain or assault you.

As a new driver, I would probably use the GPS (Marbella) for many trips (even if client says will guide) just in case. To beat the 6 months evaluation, can just be a super relief for 6 months to reduce the chances of complaints.

Lots of shit thing may crop up... e.g. passengers drunk or in foul mood. Cos you/TC shocked him with the hefty bill... never advised him the estimated fare, etc. like what Grab Taxi app could do.

I realised that alot of TDs kana assaulted and when the culprit eventually gets charged, the TDs gets very little compensation only. WTH man... TDs life really so damn cheap meh? I've not seen yet TDs sue culprit for damages... is it because TDs are poor and cannot afford lawyer or their status / earnings low so amount awarded is low???
Knn... next time for election candidates criteria, I want to recommend all must have TVDL and drive minimum 1 year as TD before they can qualify as candidate.

Actually for paxs who drop/lost their hp in the cab, they will request us to send back to them and pay cabby for the trip, some even give more, the datas in the phone is actually more important than the phone. However, there are times whereby we cannot find the phone even when centre called, and the pax is sure he or she drop inside the cab, most probably, the other paxs you picked had taken it silently. I got once a mother drop her toddler pillow, then centre call me to contact her, she said, please please send the pillow, I told her, I send her later, cos very far away from her place, she said..she will paid me more, I told her why one pillow so troublesome, she said, no pillow, her baby cannot sleep...lols

Yeah... and when baby cannot sleep, they cry very loudly non stop and the mother will be extremely upset.
