通常å�„è¡Œå�„业在用å�Žè¯è§£é‡Š“赚”这个æ„�æ€�的时候，常有人æ�žé”™ã€‚
所谓的赚，必须指扣除一切开销å�Žçš„利润，也就是“净赚”。
比如 – 有两间ä¸�å�Œåœ°ç‚¹çš„店，都å�¯ä»¥è¯´ä»–们一个月å�¯ä»¥å¹³å�‡èµšå¾—2万元。

Unless you go sell meekpok or chicken rice..otherwise, almost all peoples earning in Singapore are easily known, not only TD The parliament are debating on lower income group and those in need of upgrading or the less educated ones need to be educated, so to speak. So, in a way, TD come into the picture....this prove that TD is at the lower income category and also lower education and skill category. Remember TD hv no CPF, no medical benefits, no annual leaves, no insurance and bonuses. Not to mention no D n D, no free recreation like family day, quality day.. and so on. If you engage a person with a $3k pay, you hv to contribute his CPF, another 16%, buy insurance for him, give bonuses, if 3 month will be 9k, and all other benefits and expenses would hv put this guy above a TD pay. In term of liabilities, the liability fall more on the employer if he employed someone, but for TD, he is on his own, and his liability is high, he gets into an (touch wood) accidents, he gets sick, he bought his own insurance, he still need top up CPF or medissave.. his time lost due to many issue including CB pax and no show..run fares...and so on are a cost to the TD.

OMO income can be more than 6.5k not only 5.9k, but that is 2 shifts and provided you drive 16 to 20 hrs per day...my thailand land Cow pulling cart also dun work so long, you will be worst than a cow. In no time, if you drive like this, no matter what is your age, you either end up in my Casket Van or joing MOM Tan in the hospital Now you know why MOM Tan got lung infection with water...because he put sand on TD rice bowl.

Family member is pax. meter ON is the fares. it is consider a valid trip with fares, if an accident happen, it is consider a valid trip that the pax is cover by the insurance.
If TD not collect the fares, it is his issue.

The PQ on Taxi Driver earnings seems to have created a stir. Let me make one point clear upfront, two-shift operations refer to taxis hired and driven by two or more drivers who share the rental cost. No one is encouraging anyone to drive for two-shifts.
Let's take a look at my official response:
"1. As at December 2014, about 98,000 Singaporeans held a Taxi Driver’s Vocational Licence. About 56,000 of them were registered with taxi companies. The average net monthly earnings (less expenses) of taxi drivers in 2014 was $3,173 for a single-shift operation, and $5,933 for a two-shift operation.
2. Of the employed resident taxi drivers in 2014, about 8 in 10 were aged 50 and above, and over 9 in 10 possessed non-tertiary educational qualifications. We do not have data on how many taxi drivers were formerly in PMET jobs."
The average for single shift isn't far-fetched. I have met taxi drivers who earn less, but I have also met those who do make $3000+ per month. The information is gathered from the taximeters. You can work out the earnings from there, after taking off rentals and petrol.

yalor, and how many time kenna demerited points cum summons to pay Yandao MOM mama boy Tan salary. For me, I am not really bother about how much he said abt taxi income and profession, the agenda or purpose behind this episode of taxi income, is not hitting on the TDs, we are only taken as a scapegoat of example by the govt in determining Local income from a general perspective. Why govt take us a such..because Sg taxi drivers carry no weight, govt knows that there will be no complain nor comments nor action by local taxi drivers. There are no avenues for TDs in Singapore to seek grievences and victimisation, there are no ways TD can get united and address our problem as a whole. Because we are fragmentated and individualistic with the motto of pride and ego above all else, Govt have in a way, pull us by the nose all these years, so, one more comments on TD income is absolutely ok....for others profession, Income is consider as Confidential.
