Now pax with taxi app can cancel call themselves. No need call operator. Some cheapo pax can see u coming and cancel the call then board ur taxi without having to pay call charge

VIP is Very Irritation People, why u go take...because you want $3.30 tio bo? And when you forgotton to press, whose mistakes??? VIP or you? When we make a mistake, we are at the expense of the mistake, we need to act fast to recover, so in yr case -
When you asked VIP the normal fare she paid, she might tell you $12, you also lan lan...press meter better. But if she told you $18, you do not press the meter, reached, press those Ks to mark up to $18, then swipe the VIP card. Anyway, I am sorry for yr $3 to 4 dollar lost, but if this $3 to 4 dollars can teach you a good lesson, take it as a course fee and move on. To make a mistake is ok, but to make the same mistake is not so ok, and finally, to make the same mistake and yet blame and curse at others....u go figure it out yourself

VIP just means they take cabs frequently. Nothing special. Does not mean that they are good passengers or elites or people holding high positions with high pay. Can be an office clerk also.
I also seldom forget to press but got one time forgot until the end of journey. Luckily my ang moh pax is generous.
Sometimes in day time, too glaring, got press or not also can't see or remember. Sometimes press again and kena stop meter, lol

CDG VIPs means Cabcharge Members.
They top up their Cabcharge card maciam like EZ Link Card.
Sometimes if they cannot get cab call centre will call us to go fetch them.
Normally will offer offset levy $5 - $8.

Then you smart one go take the street pax lor, it all depends on the timing and location mah, if is at 9.10am, you are at Bedok, a call come in, bedok north to town, it is up to you to decide to take or not to take, to press 3,5,7,or 10 minutes, or to choose to go toilet first, if you decided to take any pax on the road...good, then maybe Uncle bowah got chance to take the call..lols -
