Depends on what hirer you are comparing to? No offence. But I guess should compare same age where most factors are similar.

Omo need more time to cover rental but on the other hand has more time to earn money. Relief usually 12hours but your rental is also half, importantly you no liability(paying rental to taxi companies). I would think is rather proportionate..my 2cents.

Definitely not... Omo If u drives 6 am to midnight. 1 day 6 hours sleep. .. 7 k possible. ....u nvr see newpaper.

If you put in max effort in both, then of course being OMO can earn more but.....at the expense of sleep.
Tried both already because sometimes got to cover hirer for full day. Full day damn seong but earnings always better than 1/2 day simply because more hours on the road.
Will stick to 1/2 day and maintain my sanity and health. After all life is short and we only live once ...... (according to Pinkie, play hard)

omo can make more if put long hrs on rd
no mid day break like after cover rental/fuel go hm zzz then evening peak wack again
I got a very close frn who is doing tis for 7mths already
heavily debt by family commitments sole bread winner
but he won't be driving long only short term
he waiting to get bk into he's old job line
sending resumes n going for interview regularly too
he's daily gross is scary compare to mine
no joke real sad story.....

Correct, your life is not suppose to spend all day inside a box with four wheels, there is much to life to explore and see, money can earn another day,....but time and aging await no one -
omo no need to wash car,take own sweet time to drive.no worries abt hand over late,no need to pump petrol until full and take torch light to shine.can drv family members and friends ard.can pau all the peak hr.

But most OMO drive until got psychological problem...mai lah, take a relief to lesser yr workload, further more, taxis is not mend for one driver, non does any shift jobs, and LTA also recognise this, that is why they come out with a matching net...but no use one...lols -

But if sick, got to pay full daily rent. Unless weekend got relief, if not, weekend also got to drive because got the 250km requirement.
Then downtime due to servicing, problems with vehicle, etc.
Worst of all, no peace of mind because everyday got to worry about the rent.
Relief is best, just drive, make money and leave the rest to hirer.
However, if you have a sideline, then OMO could be a good option. Simply drive 2 extra hours daily to cover the extra rent and the rest of the day can use for sideline biz.
