For i40, 1 litre of diesel can travel between 12.5km to 14km
So base on current CDG diesel price of $0.85 per litre
Per km should be between 6 to 7 cents
But of course let the person pumping earn a bit lah
He need to dirty his hands and take time to pump

A lot $$$ leh
hirer may not trust u to do it, later dispute, didn't pump properly.
instead of wasting time queuing at kiosk, u fetch another pax, whats that daily $4 difference?
if it matters to u, be a hirer and u definately need to fill up the tank yourself
some hirer under cpf contribution scheme, hope to fill more and more goes into his contribution
nowadays, not really easy to fetch another pax..
the 0.09 cents is under the old diesel price.. now, definately much cheaper..
even if let hirer earn a bit more, it ok la.. but shd not be more than $2..
that my own opinion..

You drive every day for your hirer without off day? Then he got split incentives with you of not? But few dollars to save the hassle ok lah. Imagine you drive everyday and have to go to find a taiko pump and queue with those taiko uncle pump diesel? Buay sian meh? Last time I OMO go during non change shift hours pump liao also sian. Most of the pump is dirty, oily. Worth the effort and time taken to find and queue? Might as well us that time chin cai queue one short trip at your neighbourhood mall or mrt.
Even my ex neighbour driving a sonata willing to pay more to ask his relief pump for him. Always give 1-2 cents more then market rate. Want him to go pump? Bo eng lah.

Then why not you suggest to him pump yourself? Last time when I first start part time my hirer got 2 reliefs. I am the part time one. He says when pumping always put at the first notch and pump until auto stop then round up to the nearest dollars. No dispute. Every relief do the same.
