Overall it seems poorer than average.
first week is recovering from year end holidays
week 2 quite ok
week 3 cannot make it
wonder how the last week gonna be

Always try to drive $1 =1km. Of course usually after 11pm onwards, surely burn more fuel to cover distance against costs.

Almost impossible unless that day its continuous non stop short trips. If u keep getting $10 above fares, the 1:1 gap widens

But more likely to be 1.15Km to $1 sales.

With the diesel rate at 1 litre $0.85. Who care about $1 -> 1km. -
Well, still can achieve mah, diesel rate is just back to the norm, do not take it as a reduction, we had been overcharged when oil price shoot up. Even fuel rate is low, if can achieve 1 : 1, can make more mah. But from reading here, look like drivers are able to achieve or near achieving it, which also translate into more earning, coupled with a lower fuel rate, so most can huat. Like this, for fares to go up, quite difficult hor. We are just taking our lanjiao and hit our head

If drive night $1 to 1km possible if stay inside CBD. Worst case outskirts like Thomson, East Coast, Kent Ridge.
If kena Jurong Yishun really LL. If kena Tampines want go airport also think twice. The airport queue very long after 9pm.

At night, kena northern parts Kranji, Woodlands,CCK, Sembawang, Upper Thomson, Yishun, the most jialat.
If kena east like pasir ris ot tampines, still got airport (but Q terrible), changi biz park, changi north or loyang or move a bit to geylang to try.
If kena west like jurong west, still can try jurong east area or dirve to Alexandra area.

once i had a few long trips north to south and vice versa and east to central and central west, extra mileage comes extra by almost 40km.. not forgetting there's mileage wasted cruise empty especially in western areas till a call comes in
that particular day, excess of about 80km

As a layman taxi driver, it is alway an added advantage to tell others that driving taxis cannot earn much, hard to earn a living, something Q one hour, no pax, and so on, even tho you zai buay hu. Unlike other trade/buiness, when interviewed, will alway said, less profit..but for Taxi drivers. they tends to say they earn much higher than what is the real case, that resulted in 3 main issues beside all other smaller ones. 1. More people joining taxi trade leading to more taxi on the road 2. Taxis fare revision will be prolonged 3. The public will take sg taxi drivers as rich people, no show is no problem for them, less tips and a non sympathy manner toward taxi driver on the road

Indeed last 2 saturdays can feel the drop in pax. City all green queueing at taxi stand with no pax ard 9pm.

there should be 2 statistics use together then is more precise/ One is Distance to Earning ratio. the other is Average Taking Per Hour. i will just say 2 numbers. those who understand will understand. those not understand then sorry. 1.3. 30.

Better not to understand, driving taxis is already very stressful, still can stand meh? Just drive lah, you also dunno your first pax will send you to holland or not...careless smlj mileage, got p n g, just pick, no pick, just go into a Q, got good call, take, fuel tank emptied, go back fill up, like this drive, more relax mah.
