Best job options for ex TDs?

  It is alway a comparision of one success against thousand failure that makes one life miserable. We tends to look at one person success stories, and forget about many other suffering and failed miserably. Hope you can take it from here, and even tho one is successful, one might be suffering to hold on to that success and secretly regretted that he left taxi driving. In working life, the official retirement age is 62yo, thereafter it is up to the company to re-employ you for yearly contract up to 65yo. If you are still able and company decided to retire you at 62yo, they will hv to pay you the EAP, that is 3 month of yr basic pay and off you go. Taxi driver can drive until 75yo, which I think is too cruel to life, so if you are now 50yo, take it from a working life that end at most 65yo, you only got 15years to struggle and drive, hopefully after 65yo, you can relax and retire gracefully. And with 15years left of active working life, what do you want to do further, get a diploma??? start a business? go take another courses??? go into a new venture and after finished all these changes, how many years left.....??? you go figure it out. So, gentlemen, time await no ones, the four main suffering that one go thru in life is craving, never learnt to let go, never learn to see open and never learn to appreciate the present.

  Actually Personal Drivers are high in demand in the job market.

  I will recommend you apply for a post of a Corporate Chauffeur & do not get involved in the domestic activities of the bosses. If not your working hours will be crazy.

  If not can join companies like Downtown Travel Services as a Limousine Driver. But that will be no different from TD.

  Corporate chauffeur jobs are for ex-cabbies. These guys lost their TDVL due to greed or being stupid. The pay is around $2k-$2.5k with OT. Lost of freedom, fixed pay and reduced income compared to being a cabby. Dun waste my time lah...

  If the corporate chauffeur job pays $4k, many cabbies will join. But then the company staff will all queue up and request for a switch of position from manager to corporate chauffeur. The company die lah.

  Try harder and do not mislead people. Being a corporate chauffeur is worse off than being a cabby.

  Corporate driver can also end up as despatch cum delivery drivers, as long as u are under the company payroll as a driver, smlj also hv to drive...and those farker who take yr ride are yr colleagues and bosses, they will address u as driver instead of Uncle, and the atmosphere of respect will not be there, and you do not hv the option to reject
