EasyTaxi app = S$17 taxi?

  Hi all,

  Has anyone used EasyTaxi app to book taxi before?

  I booked a taxi using this app at 6 something today, from Redhill MRT to Waterloo street (basically, from redhill to bugis).

  The entire journey was only about 10+ mins, not even 15.

  And the taxi cost is $17.50. I was in a hurry so didn't ask or check with the driver.

  I assume it's because of peak hrs + easytaxi fee (I thought the fee is waived from March) + journey cost + some additional fares?

  I am not into the use of Easy taxi app, you can go visit the web itself that shows the rates. There are futhur options like grabcar, grabtaxi, uberX, uber taxi and Hailo taxi all available to date which charges about the same as normal taxis.
