  If your dream is to be something else.... just drive it for now but put some effort into that something else, sacrifice some time & some earnings of course

  Oh, this is a sad opinion. If you are fit to drive, then you are fit to make your dream come true. It is never too late or too old. Age is not an issue lah, only an excuse. Of course, when you are older, you can't take too much risks, so manage your risks properly, it can be done.

  Read the story of Colonel Sanders who only cheong when he was way above 60 yrs old. Lim Goh Tong of Genting starting building the Genting Highlands when he was mid 50s. Many more examples of late bloomers.... like the man (can't remember his name) who became a best selling author after he was 90 yrs old....amazing.

  It is sad if all of us simply resign to driving a cab just because we think we are too old to make our dreams come true. I know it is easy to fall into the trap (or convenience) of just driving and earning some money every day, after all, it can feed the family.

  But it is a trap, an illusion, beware. When you finally become too old to drive, then it is too late liao because you will find your rice bowl gone. But if you have a backup income stream, then it won't be a shocker later on.

  Think about it. No offence intended, just my humble opinion :)

  Have a plan and working on it. Hoping to see some fruits next year and then maybe just drive on weekends if need be.

  But to each his own lah, some people really enjoy driving and it could well be their passion so be it.

  Just something to think about instead of driving like a zombie day in, day out (night in, night out).
