It started as a normal Monday evening when Ms Wang, 23, boarded SBS bus service 153 from her workplace in Toa Payoh, ready for a ride home.
It ended with her getting a bloodied lip and having to go to hospital.
Seated in the third row of the bus, Ms Wang, a secretary, was hit in the head when the bus suddenly screeched to a stop on Upper Serangoon Road.
It caused her head to jerk forward and hit the handrail in front of her.
She said:
"It happened too fast so I wasn't able to shield my face from the impact. Those who were standing were thrown to the front of the bus."
The SBS Transit bus had crashed into the back of a ComfortDelGro taxi at around 7.30pm.
Thirteen others, including the taxi driver and his passenger, were taken to various hospitals to be treated for minor injuries.
Ms Wang called her boyfriend, Mr Teo, who rushed to the scene.
He said:
"I was quite anxious when I received the call as I thought that something serious could have happened."
Ms Wang was taken to Changi General Hospital for her injuries and was given four days of medical leave.
ComfortDelGro spokesman Tammy Tan told The New Paper that its employee was at the hospitals on Monday night to check on the injured parties.
She added:
"We are already in touch with all of them and will be rendering assistance as best we can. We apologise to all who were affected by this incident."

PR big mistakes, taxi driver was never an employee of taxi companies, just a hirer,
If it is an employee, it will come under the employment Act, whereby, OT, bonuses, annual leaves and many other perks must be present before entering a contract of service
When did Tammy said TD was an employee?
An employee was at the hospital to check on the injured parties, not check on employees.
But even if she said check on employees also not wrong because ComfortDelgro owns SBS so the driver is an employee mah
