  Don't Q at AP lah. Not worth the wait and risk getting knock. Nowadays I don't bother to Q, just drive off to neighbouring estate or biz park, much better returns.

  i think TS go q at AP as its early am and residential estates are like dead town

  lately i feel places near Jurong west, simei, changi north, tampines, river valley area, tg rhu got good supply of taxis after they drop pax near the office or ind areas

  that because right now, there r too many taxis on the road.. not forgeting that there r lesser paxs now..

  With so many taxis on the road, yet there are shortage of taxis during peak hours in certain areas.

  If you drive night, you will know after midnight, swarms of green lanterns looking for pax... it is really scary looking.

  Yet at certain timings, sea of pax waiting frustratingly for the illusive taxi to take them where they want to go to.

  so many times at so many places, i was at junction thinking.. where to turn?

  greens coming from the left to the right..

  greens coming from the right to the left..

  greens coming from oppersite direction toward me..

  traffic light change from red to green, how i wish i no need to move.. but most of the

  time, the result would still be the same.. i think those taxi drivers would be thinking

   like me, who the bastards who put so many taxis on the road?

  How to go tough when all green lights and no pax?? hello, this is not army recruit exercise hor, this is driving taxis, if it is tough to find a pax, better pack up go home sleep or hv sex with wife or find a place to sleep n PCC

  Many ang mo expatriate go back to their village, and also some asians who faked ang mo also go tour and act like christmas is their new year. And also many wage earners are clearing annual leaves + school holidays, all go overseas. But some hope are coming this weekend...most companies are giving out 13th month AWS paid to wage earners, so you might see more cheapo taking paxs, hope that can help abit, especially so on a slow and downward global economy

  I am doing night driving. Don't really see any signficant decline in pax leh. Yah, after 12am, can be hard to find pax so bo pian go to CBD area, usually can find some.

  During peak, especially at orchard, throngs of pax for the taking. But as we all know, see so many fish, can only catch one at a time.

  Taxi drivers are not like food selling business whereby you can sell 10 plates at one go, TD can only serve one pax at one time, and if that pax sent you to far north...good luck to you. So, it is very much depend on Luck, nowaday, you can grab or take call with destination, use it wisely to your advantages. And when the going get tough, go home sleep, dun waste your time on tough period. The statistics had shown that many taxi drivers are now returning back to be hirers instead of being relief, OMO had increased in the last year to 11,000 drivers, this trend happened because of the need to have flexibility in driving so that you can gain from both peak period, and with more apps and calls, as OMO, you are more in control and able to earn more within a shorter period of times. This is also in line with Govt and taxi companies hidden agendas. In a right condition, taxi companies prefer more hirer and less relief, more relief becoming OMO is good because more taxi will be rented out, and as for govt, by inputting mileage rules, they expect OMO to ply on both peak period then 2 men operation, moreover, getting relief is difficult, so might as well go OMO.

  That means those 11000 cabbies on the road got no life liao. No lah, depend on how you look at it, some of cos cannot find a relief..because neow chee neow lan mah. There are people who prefer OMO, no need to worry about reliefs, no need to worry about handling over (time wasting), can drive at own time own target. But if you are those who really need lot of money from taxi driving, then for sure no life lah.
