Woman receives weird anonymous texts -- which turned out to be from cab driver
Stomper DN received a text from an unknown number on Nov 4, which turned out to be from a cab driver from a taxi company she made bookings with.
She recounted: "From the text, it was very obvious that it is some guy just trying to be cheeky.
"Googled his number up and found out it belongs to a cab driver."
She then lodged a complaint with the company and sent them screenshots of the conversation. They called back the next day, saying they have spoken to the said driver.
The Stomper continued:
"This is their explanation. It is the driver's girlfriend who texted me. He claimed that she texted another female friend that she had a dispute with.
"They even went on to ask me if I had any dispute with any one recently.
"I told them I don't have any dispute with any female friends. And that the texts definitely doesn't seem like a woman texting another woman.
"They couldn't give me a satisfactory answer and just told me if i received more texts from this number, I should make a police report.
"The driver was let off with just a warning.
"I do make cab bookings often with the company and I think this is how this guy got my number."
DN was annoyed that there was a lack of policies in place about misusing a passenger's contact.

Raining some more...told her want to use KJE or which route she prefers...she chose jurong town hall....i say ok lo. I also told her will jam cause it's evening time, raining and ppl are going back. She say wont jam...
in the end cock up, jam from bukit batok road till the end...nb...jam 1/2 hour. !@%!%! I
told her next time at least listen to advice....even if take KJE...exit woodlands road is way faster then just because she wants to save a few cent....nb. spoil mood.

Firstly, you asked, that is good, and when pax give you her desired destination, just follow lah, jam or not, bo bian...but at least you follow her instruction mah, if you go KPE, then woodland tio jam, lan lan give her fark for nothing..tio bo? that time, mood more worst. If want to drop, please call me to pick her up, usually pax kenna drop by TD will be nice to the next available TD who pick them up. Once got one ang mo char bor knn drop by a TD near napier junction (botanic garden side), she ran to my cab, waved and boarded, told me that the Taxi she took was nightmare, the driver was so impolite and keep talking to himself. So then, we chatted all the way to Arab street, now also in contact...ang mo char bor leh
