Stomper Yeo saw a taxi that had crashed into a pillar at the basement entrance of Resorts World Sentosa this morning (Oct 25).It is unclear how it happened. In an email to Stomp, the Stomper said:
"This accident occured at Resorts World Sentosa this morning (Oct 25) near the taxi stand."

What to do, want to chiong, want to watch EPL, want to find bak bak, want to go cycling at geyland and joo chiat, then also want to bet here and there, so end up, not enuf sleep, tired, bo lat.. gong gong luan luan long lor...told you all many times already, dun get into an accident, especially own fault like this one, seibei jialat one, insurance paid until trouser drop...sure increase premium or ask company to forget/remove this driver. I agree with Bowah. This afternoon, it was raining. My i40 wheel-locked & skipped. I am not Jay Chou, do not like drift here & there leh.

Got one pax told me he took a taxi and this driver sped at 130km/hr inside the KPE tunnel and still laughing !! Siao cabby.....

True, many siao lang become taxi drivers. Today cars are much mechetronic driven, it is more sensitive to changes, usually such car take a certain time to adapt to a driver way of driving, once set, it programmed itself to suite that style of driving by the owner. And when you change tyre or battery, it may reprogramme again, but in short, it still goes back to suit the style of the driver who is the owner. But for Taxis, so many drivers handling it, so the electronic senses are unable to find a proper programme to suit, today this relief, tomorrow, ah seng, this afternoon, ah bowah,..it is just like those smartphone user, a person who use the phone in a long run, the phone will somehow programmed itself to suit the owner, even the voice command is recognised, and when someone took over, it will take a certain time for the phone to recalibre to suit it owner again. Therefore, be careful when driving newer taxis, and also change yr tyres to better ones if needed, and more importantly, change it when worn, some knnccb, no thread left still driving, that is same as committing suicide, so dun be a kamikaze, you are a taxis driver, go out safe, come home safe. Still miss my crown

i40 can only play block here block there at arterial roads lah, on highway have to f one side most times, however one mountain got another mountain higher, renault also kena bully by bmw, audi and other higher power cars, even a cb camry 2.5l also want to makan renault, they should come out with the new honda civic type r as taxi, about 300bhp, like that then can lah......

i40 is 1.8, not turbo Sonata, chevy, renault, K5 are all 2.0 and above cc +turbo. and i40 is also lighter including plastic interior, which it at time, wobbling at high speed, it is suppose to be at the same range as Wish, not go chiong with sonata or renault and so on. It vision is also a problem due to it design of half saloon, half coupe looks, in fact, you can hardly see the front of yr cab without the need to stretch yr neck, it side vision is blocked by the roof pillars and the window are smaller. So, for a typical old uncle like me...already cannot see clearly liao..drive i faulty can be a stress.

i40 jin jiak you leh. I still prefer crown and nissan cedric. Even my sonata my ex-relief complain jiak you then top up half nia KNN.

Jiak you at times depend on how you drive, for i40, if you want to drive it like sonata or renault, it is sure to jiak you..and also up lorry very fast. Early sat morning saw one TC renault doing F1 racing down west coast into jalan buroh road...no pax,..while turning at 120km/h, it skipped, hit the railing and nearly went into the other lanes..so becareful when turning sharp lanes, he might be on call to take pax from pandan loop. When you accept a Call, do not get panick, just locate it, drive at your normal speed, our statistic had shown that, nearly 50% of accident occur while taxi drivers are on calls. so please be steady, once accept a call, go steady, late is better than never reach
