Usual case is people start with cdg, the shaolin training centre, then hand and legs itchy, or get terminated, go join others, good for experiences and exposures, then later kenna many problem, they go join the 3rd tier..then 4 tier..then end up..driving for silver or prime...as chinese saying, good horse will not eat back the same grass...so unless you are not a good horse..can try call cdg

If you had throw key in cdg, you can go back...but if kenna terminated..chao chao also need a year to go back with no guarantee. Taxi companies got all your datas, they also do not want drivers to play around with the companies...suka suka change here and there, there are regulation to follows. That's why, sometime when you decided to throw key at any companies, be polite and tell them you go find other job, you might not know you will come back, and they may welcome you back. By far, in taxi driving. I hv to qualify that Cdg is till the company to go, many other companies have chute this pattern and that pattern but still unable to truly match them. From CNG..to Uber to grab to easy..making big hoohaa..but still cdg stand firm and stood up to the competition well. People who had drove for cdg will find lots of different when drive for other companies, and those who have never drive for cdg, will never know the intangible benefit cdg can offer.

MGD bro, from your plight... look from the other perspective view... understand what the pax wants, cause the nature of TD is to provide service...unless you know what you are doing lo. Every pax wants easy way out like eg. cashless payment cause why? a scenario; a pretty girl you picked @ 1am @ orchard...see so many greenies. sure spot the blue / yellow cab one. Of course you can say those pax are cheapos. If can go club to spend money, why cannot pay abit more to take cab home? But @ night, ppl want ease of convenience. Everytime pax up my cab, always ask can pay nets bo. I really one day want to put signboard say only can pay by NETS or card. But that's me la... this is my 2 cents suggestion. I dont mind waiting for a day or 2 for coy to tsf the money to my acc lo.
It's entirely up to you. I never drove Red Engine before but hearsay collections better than blues. Hearsay ah. I haven try. I don wan to start any political debate on this issue.

Smlj Cheapo, every cabbies define cheapo differently, some no give tip only, labelled as cheapo, use net only, cheapo..or ask to use shortess road only cheapo come in...therefore, how you look at it and what history you had with them can create a stigma of cheapo, like India's indian..most TD will tell you cheapo all the way...lols. Then naturally, we all like beautiful thing that suit the eyes, like between a sexy chio bu and a lau char bor like our fireice Queen, if end journey, trip read $14.60, chio bu say, sorry uncle I got no coin...TD will smile and say...nevermind nevermind $14 can already (saliva dripping). But if lau char bo fireice...fark her kau kau liao..bo $0.60 takes smlj taxi..cheapo pax. See the different?? And then like my ex chief, here cheapo, there cheapo..then drive people to police station because of some cheapo pax... so if today all cheapo pax..how? throw key better..tio bo. In every business entity, the kind of customer reflect that kind of service provider, in another word, to put it simply, got cheapo pax also got cheapo Cabby, some cheapo pax might had been created by cheapo cabby.

Red makes more than Blue??? what facts do you hv to qualify that statement?? Red got 2 kinds of driver, one born in red like my bro CT, he know nuts about blue, only hearsay here and there, the other one are ex blue brothers who are attracted by red good rebates, red lau chio bu Jasimine and her gangs, and finally one more are those who get terminated by blues. Red in it kind is like ancient chinese legend..Liang Shan, liang shan got 108 good Hans, but here got good Lans. Finally the kind of question you hv to ask, not bullshit hor, current cdg fleet had slowly increased to 16,700 and still going to increase, many newbies and cabby still want to drive for blue. It is not something that you hv to put a gun on their head or produce some good rebate to lure them in, but cdg is still able to attract newbies and cabbies than any other cab companies.

No need much reasoning lah, human tends to go back to where they started, what we did the first time are the most memorable one, if got chance to go back human will wish to go back, like first sex, first love, first bak bak and first time join the taxi company or even army time, we might hated it when we are there...but after losing it, it become memorable and wanting to go back. Some, of course cannot go back anymore, because most of us old liao mah, lanjiao also old liao,..but for taxi driving, old or young, you still can go back to the company that you first started with...like a club, once a chelsea blue...alway a blue, once a liverpool, alway a liverpool, once a red devil..
