It happened to be twice, instead of exiting to Telok Blangah/Pasir Panjang, I went up the ramp, thus overshot. I feel there's a need for a overhead signage at this area.
whats your way to revert back to pax destination?
2. Sentosa RWS taxi drop off has been shifted to the right. Does it mean after we drop off pax, we need to enter the q, go through one winding turn before we can exit from q to get out of place?
can anyone advice?
1) Go to Keppel Rd and then turn left to cantonment and then right turn to Keppel Rd and go straight to Telok Blangah Rd and then turn left to Sentosa Gateway.
2) keep right and then turn right and make a U turn. Drop pax at the 5 lots. Then you can rejoin the Q or you can bypass.

Cantonment u turn better or up aye on left on Keppel and down via lower delta better?
2. If there's a long taxi q, isn't it difficult to bypass, just like AP q?

You dunno abt the lower delta jam. That road leading to Telok Blangah can be jammed at times. Hard to predict coz of the road works near kampung Bahru and Telok Blangah.
about the new arrangements, you have to see the situations. RWS do it so as not to create bottle neck during peak hours.
Keppel rd normal hrs k but during evening peak can be hell
Even need to reach Cantonment can take 10-12mins if u keep left all the way n pray pray tat there's no buses ahead of u
So this time u must decide whether lower delta better or not
I observe tis area many times bcoz most of the time I hang out at vivo harbour front area during peak hr
yea no joke when you take the 1st exit to keppel from MCE ( if you are heading to sentosa or telok blangah ). pax will start to ask you why u exit from there... when you can exit the next one...
but hor, when you take the 1st exit liao, dont hor take the ramp back to AYE HOR. you take that one.... i say gud luck to you.
Of course once you accidentately take the 1st exit to keppel of course can carry on driving to sentosa direction.... carry on driving straight, pass the ramp to AYE ( dont take the ramp) and you will see the road leading to telok blangah... of course pax will sure f u la, say you take longer route...actually not really longer route la. If you manage / heng heng all green light all the way, the distance is the same. Only that if red light, pax not happy. Especially ang moh. Phui.

the jam is similar like PIE heading to Lornie...F man. No end. Dont know why gahmen dont make dual lane instead of merging or put traffic light there..
peak hours all the lorries and vans all NB, hug 2nd lane drive 70. no wonder snowball back to tuas. all jam like F.
If sala nvm lar take gate 2 if i not mistaken ( that one for e container truck) U turn from there i do it two three time

But serious, Singapore road today got a few ramp you hv to take note, mai ai koon ai koon, bo lat bo lat hor…drive with brain and eyes open hor. The like of upper serangoon, if u up the ramp..pax destination is NEx, you also jialat.
All these as a taxi drivers, you must know by your finger tips and also must be alert, not that you go up the ramp already then start to blame on this or that…but never blame yourself..pax fark care what signages or sleepy you are..

L Delta roadworks is progressing very slowly. two straight lanes is hampered by a left and go straight lane to Prumei..
RWS new drop off seems confusing, not enough signs to show exit, only points to the queue. i still drop pax at the old point, before the traffic lights
Originally posted by bowah:Aiya, brother brother, that ramp up is not just completed yesterday, most motorists will know it goes up into keppel, too many signages on the road also headache ma, and since no signages use the no signages way of driving lor..
...for me, act blur, exist PSA gate 2, drive across PSA gate, wave to the security there like saying sorry sorry… and drive out…Sentosa liao.
But must look out for the containers how…those ah gu ah kow drivers no give chance one.,..their bull horn can make your LJ shrink one.
And this method only apply if you ah koon ah koon go up the ramp, once up, declare yourself new cabbies just on the road 2 days hor..
do illegal U turn at PSA gate is quite dangerous, need to execute slowly, if during peak port hours, u dua gi already, act blur drive to the checkpoint and then them direct u to U turn.

this is when u coming from MCE towards Sentosa, but usually u will only at Telok Blangah exit on the AYE, after those distripark buildings on the left with huge advertisement banners

the signs are too much to the left, especially so if u been driving on lane 1 to avoid all the trucks and trailers.
telok blangah road seems to be left out on this sign, but its really a design flaw of West coast hway as there should be another exit somewhere at henderson side. morning peak going sentosa, need to jam up at alexandra side is no joke, then the keppel club right turn off is also another bottleneck

many drivers last minute chut pattern at this ramp up. i feel the signs need to be more precise, thats why an overhead sign will be good
Originally posted by bowah:What sign you want, day in and day out you driving 250km per day around singapore, equivalent of here to malacca, and per years, you would had drive around the world a few times,
you should jolly well know all the ramps well, and let me tell you the truth, up the ramp the most important sign is TP, from bartley to lornie to upper seranggoon..west coast..etc.. many motorists and taxi drivers kenna summoned for speeding..this one is more worst than kenna fark by pax hor
Unless is speed trap at side of road, otherwise no place for TP to hide, unless there's overhead bridge
