How to get to marina mandarin, marina centre and other buildings surrounded by the F1 tracks? Think don't drive better lah, take day off.
That day, took a pax from Lucky Plaza. He wanted to go Pasir Ris, said many taxis ahead said don't want to take him there. Wah, how come these TDs not afraid they will lose their license if kena complained?

Last night kena liao - pick one lady from Raffles City, want to go to Marina Mandarin. One big detour to rochor road to go into Suntec, go under Millenia Walk carpark to find marina mandarin (as advised by blurr police there). Can't find, surfaced in Ritz Carlton. Lots of limo lined up for the kill. Not so bad traffic.
But at Ritz , kena go to Fairmont Hotel, jam. Then from Fairmont to Leonie Hill, also jammed. But lots of biz around that area, esp Suntec pax desperate to go home. Hard to get in only, traffic not so bad as expected. Maybe on race days will be much worse.

Just want to warn bros here, Dun ever take call after midnite at city. Kena call to MBS Tower 3 at 1230am and found out have to fetch 2 ladies and 1 drunkard. Dunno how to siam as i accepted the job. Just pray dun merlion inside my cab. Quickly pass them plastic bag and true enuff, Half way journey to clementi, drunkard merlion inside my cab and miss the plastic bag....^*^$^$#*^%$... Lan lan reach destination and the 2 ladies help me to clean up and offer me $30 extra for the trouble. No choice but to keep at 130am and go in search of washing bay to clean inside out.....There are still alot of pax at MBS TS without cab........wat a night......
actually is heng sway one la. chances you get those drunkards are those 3am onwards.... usually 1 - 2am have drunkards but most are usually sober. 2 b frank with you, i drop off 2 ladies going to central mall, sway sway got 1 lady and 1 guy help a drunkard into my cab without me noticing.... bo bian. hee. the drunkard told me he's going to holland road.. i told him if he wants to puke, let me know so i can stop and let him alight and carry on. Who knows, within 400m, he BTH liao, told me wan to puke so i stop and let him off somewhere near the bus stop along clemencau...and u know what happen next? i just really let him off there ....and just drive off. Not worth to earn his money when during the journey i always worry whether he will puke or not. haha. $8 dollars i give him, even though midnight charge... haha.

Next year got SEA Games 5 - 16 June. Any experience on such sporting events? Should be better than F1 since not held on public roads.

Heng suay is 1 thing. But to avoid is another matter.
Kena call at heartland/housing estate after midnight ( or 2-3am), that one i agree with you heng suay..
Kena call (at midnight ard 2-3am) at those happening area suck as CQ, BQ, MBS Tower 3, this one is not heng suay liao... This is is looking for trouble liao....
What I did was don't take call, but just go to the area to work smart....Booking fee forgo never mind...
