Different diameter of wheels = different taxi fares ?

  The higher the number the slower the meter refer to:

  For example if a Sonata K2/K3 Meter setting/pulse at 2550 is established to be "EXACT" as published fare.

  But if you see 2580 it means your company had set your meter slower than LTA approved published fare.

  use your "smart phone GPS apps" and compare with your printer "distance run" receipt

  All  Meters are slower than GPS meter.

  Hello, limpek tio smoking summons until give up smoking...knn, here cannot smoke, there cannot smoke..go suck better. GPS measure curved straight lines with no stoppage, knn, taxi must stop and move one hor. It measure on the curvature of the earth distance base on points, meaning it measured the cirumferences of a circle rather than a straight road. But our meter go by the road. Therefore, GPS will tends to be longer base on real time travel, but base on calculation prior to travelling, it will be different because it calculate in straight curvature lines with respect with the earth diameter which is 12,715km from north to south pole and 12,756km if measured at the equator, and rotated in a tilted angle of abt 10 degrees to the poles, base on that, if you travel from changi to tuas, GPS will use Pi r square and the angle within tuas and changi to calculate the cirumference, whereas we Taxi uncle meters just use straight lines...UNDERSTAND BO
