Most lucrative is thru own experience, observations n combined with luck

Just like my ex chief said, anyone can pay him $4k monthly salary, he would give up TD, and tho 4k is not lucrative, but still sustainable in this high cost of living city, but for how long…I dunno.
4k take away CPF, employee 20%, left with 3.2k, employers contribute 16.5%, you get total 36.5% into your CPF, you get medical and hospitialisation benefit and leaves, CPF life, Annual leaves, Progressive wage increment, bonuses, 5 days work, eldercare leave, childcare leaves, +++allowances and overtime paid, if any.
TD, unless you drive very hard everyday, maybe can get 4 to 5k cash in hand, no CPF contribution, no insurance, medical or hospital leaves, no annual leaves and all other leaves and benefit, and no bonses, not even AWS (13th) paid out. And after 10 years, still taxi driver, nothing change, maybe only the taxi brand and engine changed.
Correct lah. TD is not a good line to be in. Although can survive on its income but no life if you cheong like a seow lang everyday. Exchanging time for money sucks lah
