Whats the most lucrative method to drive?

  Driving need smlj fine tune...infront got a pax with a big luggage but before him, there is a chio bu, both waving and suddenly there come a call on yr MDT with an address just 3 minutes away and a destination "Changi Airport terminal 2"...u think must fine tune or not??

  i not like u pro mah. Me only happy happy drive. Not happy throw rental. Your scenario is best to choose MDT but hor, it all depends on individual.

  Driving taxi do not need to fine tune, it is a very situation based job, you will not know what the next minutes will be like. Time of the day, road, weather, locations and taxi driver mood do play a part in your decision on the spot, and it has to be quick and fast. Given the situation I mentioned above, luggage man might just be going to change house, chio bu might be going to a nearby shoppping mall, the call can also end up no shows. Whatever it is, take the chio bu...why? because it is guaranteed, first in line of waving, and maybe tiko pek like me, can peek abit and also smell better perfume.

  Yesterday nite, Marina Bay Sand tower 3 taxi Que, one red wish in front, do not want to take the first pax on Q, because the second in line were 2 jap girls with luggages going to AP, limpek behind red cab. First Pax, a indian mid age woman quarelled with the marshal on why she cannot take the first cab, why the first cab do not want to take her???...Marshall try to cool down her, asked the red cab to move up abit for me to come in, limpek go down and fark the marshal upside down...till the bell boys captain also come out...lols...the captain farked the red cab to move off..indian took my cab.. ..it turn out she get offended when the red cab rejected her..and she is a america citizen going to dempsy road...wow..reach liao, + surcharges+fare..+ good tips..wow!

  probability of getting this kind of paxs the whole night???? based on luck la my friend.

   

  Me dont need situation based cause, i just drive to pass time only. Unless my priorities are changed, then that's another story. Just that, of course sometimes i face some situations as what you are facing, of course not happy la with the way how the red cab behaves.

  Think the most lucrative way is to not waste time lah. Go where the yield is the highest at the shortest possible time delay without being a loser TD. For me, night driving, always go near town area or into CBD better. After pax alight at ulu place, go back to the nearest "office" place or go back to town.

  Picking and choosing pax like the loser TD at marina bay hotel really sucks and will backfire in no time. He deserved it to be asked to fark off. This type of people got no sense of fair play and consideration for other TDs.

  Dun just zoom down to city lah..give yourself a few rounds, and maybe 5 minutes later..then move off to town, to know whether the town is ghosted or not is simple 1. 5 taxis only 1 hired..town is ghosted 2. No calls. Try to move along heartland road before moving out, like for eg. tio ah yishun.. Move along ave 2 out into lentor..you might get pax at end of ave 2 going to town

  Tks bowah for the tip. Yes, I do try to hook some fish along the road on the way to town too. Depends on the area. If kena Ah Wood, don't know where to go, everywhere like ghosts only at night. I try the MRT taxi std, sometimes good sometimes bad.

  Night driving in town city is more of a skill, once reach those ah wood, ah shun, ah chua..it is more of a luck. However, luck is luck, you must also know where to find the luck.

  Maybe get all the taxi booking apps and wait for call bookings will work? But very jialat since I am new and not sure where the pick up places are and how long to get there. Every time too late to bid....

  Where to find? most cabbies will keep to themselve one lah, but frankly, mostly are those 24hrs eating places and heartland KTV. As you drive along, you will ultimately form a pattern of your own style of driving, where, when and how or what is you know only, by that time, once reach those ah rong, ah wood and so on places only You know where to go and search for paxs, but does not mean you will get paxs, however, the chances to catch them will be higher...it is a basic instinct every seasoned cabbies would have had in their mind. Even everyday you start driving, you will have a pattern to drive the same road first..out of carpark, right will tend to be right unless you took a call. It is something like habit, experiences and luck mix together. But do not be so desparate until the extend of cutting others lanes and keep praying to taxi God like my bro keepthechange when he was a taxi driver. By and large, you will form your style of driving, but in whatever you drive, be it no pax or got pax, must also be careful, touch wood, if you get into an accident or kenna summon, yr earning and hardwork can be gone, As long as you drive safe and avoid all these, you are sure to make money, just a matter of more or less, gum or not gum, luck or not much luck.

  Correct, alway learn to go home in one piece, and when met up with those knn cheapo pax or high ego ones, just bear with it, the most is half an hour only, so instead of getting frustrated, think of your happy moment with your family, your parents, love ones, good buddies, warm foods and nice bed.

  Aiyo, brother brother, in life, there must be option, otherwise you make yourself very stringent and no way to move, so alway learn to give option, turn left or turn right...or go straight. So it is up to individual to believe in whatever they choose to believe or other option can also be dun believe in anything and just drive on.
