Watch how this 5th passenger blatantly bends the rulesEven though the maximum capacity of passengers in Singapore's taxis is four, a group of five men decided to flout the rules by boarding all five -- with one man in the boot.
Stomper Jinko alerted us to this video posted on Youtube by MSadamgasm.
This incident seems to have occurred at Orchard Road, captured on a driver's dashboard camera.
In the video, the five men were seen running to board a taxi while it stopped at the traffic junction. As three boarded, one was seen knocking on the boot for the cab driver to open it.
A friend then helps him climb inside and boards himself.
The Stomper said:
"Due to the 4-adult rule (in a normal taxi), one decided that entering the boot was the best idea.
"They seem to have done it before, since they did this pretty fast with no hesitation."

On a more serious note, should there be an accident, the guy in the boot will not be covered by insurance. That's the reason why there is an assigned number of passengers rule.

Maybe driver do not know passenger in boot. Driver concentrate waiting for traffic light, then first pax come in, driver concentrate listen where he want to go and concentrate wait traffic light going change green, then hear the boot pax knock knock then open boot, still talking to first pax.

This one is just a gimmick by stomper lah, taxi is part of the acting, do you know that you can get kill/suffocated inside the boot trunk whereby there are leaking of diesel exhaust, and in a hot sunny weather, you can get heat stroke...this stomper really desparate for $50..knn

However, sometime at nite, one pax board can end up with 2 paxs, limpek also blur blur where the second pax come from...eeerie.. For carrying pax inside boot, in case of accident, jialat liao, some also dunno boot got people..lols

Real or not, but dun mess with this type of stunt that harm other livinghood, you want to burnt yourself go ahead, you want to lie face down on the floor, go ahead, as long as you can express yourself as a youngster and do not harm other in a way, I admire you.
