That's is why casket driver like me, hv to past stringent test, and same like lj TDVL, also got refresher course conduct by pathologist hor., knn TD handle wheelchair only kpkb, limpek must learn how to carry the death, ...and to tell you the truth, death people before 3 days are actually much cleaner than we living people, full chemical cleaned. by 24hrs,..their body hardened already, the next 24 hrs, it will start to rot, and that is where the disease will start to look for the next host, if any. Yalor, as TD, this is part of health hazards, at times pax more worry about taxi driver, i cough only, they quickly put a tissue on their mouth liao..knn. -
Dying of old age is natural, pre mature death is fated lah, like the aeroplane shot down...haiz RIP. What cabbies should do is try to avoid hand contact, unless is chio bu, also, try to clean and detox yr taxi once a while or even everyday once, next, your own health, make sure you sleep enough, exercise to improve immunity, take more vitamin C and other supplement that help to improve yr immunity against illness. But if you sian sian lazy lazy like me..no power, eat and eat, and for some smoke and smoke..,....tiam tiam sick one or here pain, there pain,..even virus see already, also scare to go into you.

He has changed to i40 for 2 mths now, no sign of cough from both him and his pax
Quite amazing, he says could be due to the clean air inside i40

This one air filter problem lah, ask the service people to change..one filter abt $20++. If air filter changed, still cough, then driver and taxi 没有缘分, better part. One of my buddy drive taxi, tiam tiam touch wood, tio bang..then drive casket van..no problem, sometime in driving, it is abt 缘分 (fate), some drive until dun want to give up taxi, some drive few months only, throw key and change companies liao...here got one like this..

The truth is taxi drivers pre mature death is lower than white collar workers, in fact, pre mature death (meaning die out of a sudden like cardio arrest or full stroke) highest are those business peoples, from bankers to traders to towkays. Because for them is 24hrs stress, and on top of that, lead an unhealthy lifestyle, here eat there eat, here sex there sex, here fly there fly..boom! So, dun worry, taxi drivers is just as normal as any workers in term of pre mature death. But if another epidermic like SARS come along..good luck to us

Aiyo unker, don't bluff ourselves lah...Many taxi drivers have hypertension, diabetes, kidney and all kinds of health problems. Why? Because their lifestyle is sedentary, sit in cab whole day and night.
Rental so high, must work like shit to cover rental. Stress and no time and too tired for exercise.
Some more, got no medical benefits. Go see doctor also must spend money, wait 4 hours and lose income. So most postpone seeing doctor unless really beh tahan liao...by then it will be too late..
Not only in Singapore lah...Taxi drivers all over the world from New York to Australia to India to China...all face the same health problems...
Those rich bankers, towkays...they the most Kia Si one...they will take care of their health..only poor taxi drivers have no time and money to see doctors..

Taxi drivers death I pick is abt 1 is to 50 others, and executives form the big bulk, and our public hospital like NUH, SGH ..TTSH extra serve the public including taxi drivers, however, private hospital like glenneagle, Mt E, raffles etc etc serve almost all executives, and it is full, so you can image, how many are sick in comparing to TD. But I usually hate to pick dead TD, cos they know the road well, if me go wrong way, scare kenna fark by them..seibei sway
