Accident claims procedure

if u are with cdg and u kissed a car in front. the front driver wants unreasonable compensation of more than 1.2K, u decided to report to company.
own damage fix outside own cost.
question : can we ask company how much did the other party try to claim after company ask us to pay the 1k?
how is the payment of this 1k like? will it affect the drivers record?

no need to ask , lawyer letter will come to your house stating the amount claimed, no action needed
1k can pay by 4 equal instalments of $250.00 each
3 times accidents in a year and you are out !

If own fault, first timer $1800, if installment $250 over 6 months. 2nd times, $2000. Installment over 8 months If share fault, half the amount Seriously accidents 2 times Minor can tolerate until 3 times or even 4 times if you see me at 3rd fl

Private settlement must put in black and white, let said you are at fault..you can either go to his workshop or yr recommended workshop to repair, the time lost must be compensate by you if he ask for it, because he also need the car to do business or work. -
So, if it is serious one that both need to repair, I suggest you report to company, save all the trouble.

Please note the CTRC (own damage repair by company) varies
in general its 1k, but 2nd accident in a year its 1.5k
but if you many years no accident CTRC can be zero, yes, repair FREE by company !
Note: Third party excess for the all the above senerio still 1k

Last time when I relief cumfuck, one taxi kissed my back. I see a bit of scratches on the bumper. His front bumper a bit dented. Private settlement with cash. I collected $50. Like this dun need black & white right bowah ? If bumper dented and we want to private settle... which workshop should we go. Any recommendations ?

Some TD when kanna bang from behind also will ask for "unreasonable" amount....
Depend how you look at it lor.....
Nowadays, spare part expensive mah....

. If not, like someone knock into me..I may unquote and end up paying for his mistake, so most will quote high high mah, including lost of time and profit. Best is go and if can, go down together to a reasonable workshop at sin ming or one that you or he recommended, get a reasonable quote, both happy, paid and move on liao. Last time I whack one cab, end up become good friend, went sin ming, $150, settle on the day swee swee, then while repairing, limpek give him a dinner, and gum gum both of us like bak bak..talk until the shop called ho sey liao...please come and take yr taxis out

Claim is good to evade all other legal stuff, best is still report to company, unless it is a very minor case. -
