Module 1: Taxi Service Overview & Road Safety
Module 2: Taxi Rules & Regulations
Module 3: Locate Destination
Module 4: Plan Routes
Module 5: Deliver Quality Taxi ServiceThere will be tests at the end of the course on all modules using touch screen tablets and 3 practical tests at the end of module 5.
Hearsay now use ipad instead of computer to click liao.....Module 5 pratical test? SMLJ lai eh?

I take that time already change le. Module 5 is like they will video u when doing practical test. Like wheel chair n acting Taxi driver. But now I heard that the plan route no longer 40 routes. Now 45 routes.

This is already the course structure when i took my TDVL 1 year ago
And I took the exam with ipad too
Instant result after each module completed

My friend just pass din says anything about practical. He took from SMRT.

This new test structure implemented for those taking lessons at STA. More than a year liao.
Practical Test 1 : Keeping and taking out wheel chair. Must know how to open and close wheel chair and keep in the boot (Boot is simulated one lah..using classroom tables haha). But wheel chair is real.
Practical Test 2: Doing first parade task( Vehicle checks) and ensuring necessary documents in place like licence, coin change etc before you start your shift. Tester will show parts of the vehicle (front, rear, side, inside etc) and you must name those items that need to be checked before you start your shift each day (e.g. signal light, brake light, taxi meter etc).
Practical Test 3: Students role play taxi driver and pax. Pax give destination, taxi driver must respond politely, pretend to on-meter and drive.
EVERYONE will pass the practical test one lah. lol...

Means video submit to LTA if next time tio taichi they will shoot you with the video? How come bo practical test for baby stroller? There are more annoying strollers then wheelchair pax around leh. Where to make such sugesstion ah?

Mine time, TDVL, wrap one bottle martel with newspaper with a cut on the top, go in do interview by asking and talking only, then slid the wrapped bottle under the table, interviewer see the top martel logo..ask you go outside wait..my friend no money bought guiness stout,..tio fark n ask to retake.

knn, my time in the 70s leh, smlj CPIB, that time, take driving licence also must have relationship one hor. Today, knn, so many computers, this and that modules, smlj ipad and sanitary pad, smlj lecturers,..also end up here knock there kenna fark. More worst then our last time record.
