[OP] Start and stop meter
To print a receipt , must [STOP Meter ] , follow by [K1] once .
To add surcharge , press [K2]
*CITY ($3)
*Chang3 ( Changi Airport $3 )
*Chang5 ( Changi Airport $5 )
*Loc100 ( Expo $1 , press twice to make $2 )
*Loc10 ( in Sgd cents )
*Advance Register ( Advance booking $5.20 )
* Current BK ( current booking $3.50 )
To confirm above selected item , pressed [K3]
Note : Selected amount will appeared on [EXTRAS] column .
What is [Tariff] ?
1 = normal km rating
2 = faster km rating
Once meter shown 2 , meter jump faster . For long distance , more than 10km .
pls always take extra rolls of receipt papers from your respective taxi coy ....
Also make sure inside your vehicle , u can find a set of " Manual written receipt book " , if dun have , buy or ask for one from ur taxi coy .
Just in case meter cannot print receipt , still got Manual receipt to issue .
Receipt can only print out once , no duplicate !!!!
Pls learn how to refill the receipt papers .
In the event u wrongly selected an amount ... can it be taken out ?
Like Sgp Expo $2 Location charge , u pressed $2.10 like Zeemax did .

Answer : Yes !!!!!
Just press according to the different surcharge wrongly keyed , and pressed [K4] , amount on Extras will go away .
Go and try it at !!!
To put CHANGING SHIFT of different areas , meter must not be on !!!
The button is [K3] ...... press until u find ideal location , press [K4] to confirm .
To select different areas , if overshot , press [K2] to reverse !!!
[K3] is forward ....
BUSY also same .....
To get back TAXI , press [K3] , [K2] , [K4] !!!

everytime u start ur shift ....
It's best u reset all datas , old datas .
How ?
1.Press K1 K2 button simulatneously ... meaning together .
2.U will see STASTIC
3.Press K3 button until use 19 , then K4 .
4.A confirmation is done when u see a receipt printed out .
Try again step 1 to see all datas , should be all 0 ( Zero ) .
All the numbers got meaning ...
No 1 - Total paxes on board
No 2 - KM travelled
No 3 - number of time u speed , time u exceed 90km/h
No . 8 - Total $$$$ collected .
No 12 - Total surcharge collected .
No 18 - Clear datas
No 19 - ENTER .

Never pressed K1 K2 process ..... then K2 again , K2 means changing of per day datas , into whole captured datas since the meter from start , which cannot be deleted , only taxi company can do it .
The numbers will appear on the EXTRA lcd screen , just under the FARE .
In the event , u stopped meter . ( not knowing pax proceeding to another location )
But pax would want to proceed with the trip .
While the meter is on STOP , press and hold K2 , from STOP will shift to Hired again . Release K2 button .
Normally , if once stopped meter , means stop , because pax did not specific before the trip start . We need not oblige to their request .
For me , they must specific 2 or more places beforehand . Or once i reached first destination , i will stop if they do not remind me .
Comfort / CityCab's taximeter , their K2/K3 button function reverse with TransCab and SMRT's taximeter .
In the event , u Changing Shift CCK for example , and got a pax who wanna go specifically to Lot-1 taxi stand , so ur roof top then is HIRED , inorder to let known your intention to those waiting customer at the taxi stand , before reaching Lot-1 taxi stand , u pressed [K1] , u will change the roof top indicator to Changing shift CCK , not green , but red in clour . This is enough to inform the customer that u are on the changing shift process , too far cannot take liao .
Like that no dispute and no complaints later on , u'll never know what a simple process like that can avoid complaints .
Go and try it out .
Why complaints will never nail you down ? Cos the meter has captured your instructions , and has recorded into the data base of the taximeter .
Like printing of receipt ..
Comfort is K4
TransCab is K1
But now Comfort their receipt is printed by the command of their MDT .
Still i last known , K4 also can print .
As for Changing of Shift , Comfort and Citycab taxis , not longer using the taxi meter to command the location , command all from their MDT .
TransCab still using taximeter to command it .
Don't ask silly question like why SMRT taxis dun have Changing Shift button ?
Cos SMRT used Blue Light Taxi Sign , not LED Taxi Sign . Except their Limo Merc and Chrysler . Not even their London Cab and Buffalo .
Please DO NOT break the LTA's seal on the taximeter , serious offense .
Not really serious offense , just that troublesome . Must make report this and that .
Any problems u faced while using the taximeter , cannot figure it out , can always ask me .
I'll be happy to share what i know .
ERP & Taximeter : Inorder to prevent drivers from abusing the ERP to overcharge commuters .
LTA regulate that all ERP amount will be linked into the taximeter automatically .
U cannot find any button that allows you to key in manually the ERP charge !
Please proceed to your taxi company to reset your taximeter if ERP do not automatically goes into your taxi meter .
What is my last taxi fare ?
There'll be event u overpressed OP button and taxi fare disappeared .
How ?
3 ways
1. By producing a receipt . ( to see itemised fare break-down )
2. From taximemter , Press K3 K4 together , once . ( whole lump taxi fare only )
3. From MDT ( if your have ) , See your individual "History" data .
U'll see your last taxi fare !!!!
