Rental is base many factors beside car prices, by right rental for newer cab should gone down due to lowering of COE in recent months, but you will never see a rental reduction in your lifetime. Factoring in the cost of maintainence, the rise of insurance, property tax, corporate tax, staff wages and bonuses and so on, the rental which form the only profit in the taxi segement of Cdg, shall be determine by all these factor. When you sign a contract, the terms and conditions would had stipulated that it is at the discretion of the company, rental can/will be adjust from time to time to suit the environment changes -

In the context of Singapore younger generation, the like of cat x n y, most are either giving up hope or in comfort zone, so how to change? If I call upon 54,000 active cabbies now to boycott in demanding for lowering of rental base on high cost of living, you think who die first?

Old ah peks driver like me, the more died, the more happy is our govt, the fact that if they can remove all old peoples in Singapore now, they might do it, then all problem solved liao. A country can only progress with youngs people,..during the 70s n 80s, there are so many youngs one, 10 is to 1 old, today 6 olds is to 4 youngs and the old is increasing

I quit CDG liao. Next month start TC. Cannot tahan the Lao kok kok sonata. Keep giving me problem. 1 month car book in 4-5 time for repair. Kenna tow in b4 also.

The problem here is push button start need a keyless device which is battery operated and you can carry anywhere you like, most new pte vehicle are using it, saki mah, no need key to enter and start hor...but if you lost that device, it is very expensive, original cost about 300 to 500, and if battery is weak, also jialat, need to prick here and there to change it, sometime you need to find a specialist to change for you. And this i40 all came with push button, but many ah peks, due to crown scrapping, do not get use to push button, keep digging for keys and hole to poke...lols..so cdg gives option
