TVDL refresher course

  Anyone attend liao? My friend (nonactive) TD just renewed his license. After showing the LTA counter lady the letter he register for the course they allow him to renew the license. But after a month he forgot to attend the course. How ah? Will license get revoked? Or need to book again?

  Refresher course fee already paid, so what do you think?.....

  Of course if scare or "treasure" the license, call up and check lor....

  Recently my renewal don't need to attend Refresher.....

  My previous renewal need, farking boring la, smlj India taxi bombing, than instructor "threaten" us if end of the course fail the test, will need to retake.....

  Knn, limpek take night refresher course, 3 night if I still can remember, cannot claim lost of income, rental also must pay, liao chor la.....

  3rd year renewal no need but every 6 yrs must go refresher course. book again n hopefully don hv to pay

  i wonder the test question is up to date in the computer system ? the last time asking where is apolloo hotel.

  Is up to date lah, we purpose set question of old names and see if you can pick the correct answer or not...because on the road, many a times, paxs, especially those older ones or those 10 years come singapore one time one would had used old names, like bukit timah 7 miles, 10 miles, hougang 9 ong ya, golden landmark, odean theatre, da por, xiao por, 2 ma road. or kio tau...and so on

  hold keys does not imply drive before, some hold key and return without driving, some take one month like renting cars, never pick pax, after one month throw key

  My last refresher course got 1 si beh lau lan guy.....

  Show me his TDVL, register in 80s, can't remember which year.....

  Claim that never drive a taxi before, but keep renewing....

  Than I ask him, "like that 有�� meh?".....

  Unless you know these ppl personally.  Otherwise, how you know they never drive a taxi before just based on the TDVL arh?

  B4 that maybe is a problem.

  Now all Taxi companies got MDT mounted in their Taxi.

  So LTA just need the Log In information from all Taxi companies then will able to know.

  Just like when you received your TDVL renewal notice it clearly indicated are you a ACTIVE Taxi Driver.

  For those that when you received your notice and you are NON ACTIVE Taxi Driver is time for you to pull up your shock, LTA need more ACTIVE Taxi Driver to get all the Taxi fully occupy and go on road to solved the "No Enough" Taxi problem.

  Aiyo, brother brother..I hang over IC mah, at the same time, the deceased wife (women live longer than men) will give me their IC, licence,,,from crane to driving to TVDL..then we have to clear for them as part of the services mah. Then when i saw TDVL, ask those wifeys if their lau tiko got drive taxi before or not..most said, no drive before mah...then will add..die better lah..arbo tiam tiam go in and out hospital..make all of us so trouble. Then during funneral, can see some PRC women pay their respect..

  I am planning to take up taxi relief job but not sure what to standby? How to confirm if the passenger is going to CBD area and if it is after 5pm, do I have to manually calculate on top of the travel charges or the meter will automatically calculate once you have entered a CBD zone after 5pm?

  what to standby...as relief, first and foremost, standby $1000 deposit first...the rest can learn slowly..mostly thru getting fark by paxs

  Bro,your trainer nvr teach you at class? CBD surcharge is consider LOCATION SURCHARGE (just like Changi Airport etc) & you have to manually add in to your meter. Only those peak hours & midnight surcharge will automatic add in to the meter...
