At least he got join group. For most of Tds join union nothing to gain in return. My wife who is a Td cannot claim rental from Smrt when she is hospitalized. Reason is being pregnant is not inside the contract agreement. I went and read up and found out it's true. So bo pian. Claim from medisave.

TD unions is more of a social Unions, if you got school going childrens, it is good to get back to sch vouchers, bursaries, scholarship, hardship grant, NTUC fairpirce discount coupons and personal insurance. When it comes to companies or medical issue, they hardly can settle..why? Because TD unions are sponsored by Taxi companies.

Deposit is fix 1 right?.....
So even put aside this $4k issue, if coy wanted to replace Chevy for you, why must put deposit again?.....
Or you are saying, without paying this $4k which is accident liability, cannot take another taxi? Even I already got deposit with the coy?.....

Your friend drive with SMRT 3 years, never know anybody?.....
Don't know about SMRT, Cumfark, $2k excess, $250, deduct 8 times, $1k excess, $250, deduct 4 times.....
Sometime not enough to deduct, they also never call and demand.....
Maybe that's the different, why TD can stay long in Cumfark.....

Every companies got their own policies, if not sure, can ask, my understanding is that for some companies, changing cabs or upgrading use different contracts, therefore the deposit is not portable, that mean, cannot transfer, they need you to sign a new contract and so on. -
Remember, in Taxi driving, there is no such thing as long service or loyalty even if you drove for a company for 30 years, they can alway ask u to fark off and you can also throw key. 30 years of driving and decided to change cab with the same company can be the same as a newbie just entering to sign a contract, so if you dun understand, can ask, if ask already, still dun understand, then dun sign, be bus or casket drivers, and if still still dun understand,...I recommend you my Bro CT..he can make your under stand.

Pro and Cons..cumfark 2 x only, can fark off liao. But I have to qualify that Cumfark handle it much more better with better clarity and systmatic in their adminstration and accident issue, -

CDG is weekly dedcution right? Transcab best deduct from whatever incentives you have monthly. But if you owe rental it will be offset from the incentives so the accident money can otang de....Lol

Bi-weekly right? If I still can remember.....
All the deduction date listed swee swee in a form, "make sure" got sufficient money to deduct on that day.....
But CDG policy is that (if no change), 1st charge, call charges, 2nd charges, Rental, 3rd charge than accident instalment.....
Meaning if your bank only got $265, your rental is $104, call charges is $5, accident instalment is $250.....
They will deduct $5 first, left $260 right? They will deduct $104.....
Than balance not enough to deduct accident instalment right? They will skip, and you will consider default 1 payment.....
But if next day, you got money, left $156 right, you bank in $250.....
No call charges, they will still deduct $104 rental, left $302, than they will deduct that $250......
Than no otang liao.....
CDG incentive every quarter, same principle apply.....
Pardon me, if got any changes, feel free to correct me......

I just found out that SMRT MPVs cannot join Mbcc and Airport limo by WT. If want to join must join their talkie group. Well I might as well join the normal Q. Dun want to pay $42.10 talkie fes and then rot inside the Q. You want Maxi or MPV ? Phui x 10.

Frankly speaking, limo and MPV drivers are mostly people who want to work less and earn the same as normal..more like lazy driver..but not all of them, however, the pressure of rental and at times wondering around empty can be siao especially for those who like to work and have pax in their cab with meter running, careless if got surcharge or special disposal rate. -
So, unless you are those who can wait and have good patience to long Q, good networking, then maybe you can drive limo, and if you notice, most limos driver are abit siao siao...cos too long waiting, so think here and there until siao siao...lucky my bro keepthechange stop driving..arbo..we might hv to visit him at buangkok green to listen to his last time stories.
