I just found out that Smrt is not replacing the Kimgu fleet. Guess when next year when my turn to surrender my Kimgu, I am moving on to Maxicab. So the balance Kimgu of 75 will remain on the road for the next 5 years.

This remind me of the ageing Mercedes fleet. They kill it by replacing with Crysler.

my frns one scrapping on sep tis yr but he say they might do it earlier
but his veh condition is terrible yet he just tahan n drive due to cheap rental
is true tat kimgu wrkshop service is fark type?
even tyre also difficult to replace new one
my frn scared to make noise there

Actually the workshop is good but due to spare parts problem and the LTA TA 250 km requirements , Kimgus need to change the tyre quite often. 2 years ago before the TA standards , there were no problems coz Kimgus operates from Limo counters. So the mileage is little. Till today only Maxicab is the only 7 seater taxi that is excluded from the TA standard. That's why most Maxi operates from Ap.

I been driving the kimgu for 2 years liao. My skin grew 1 inches thicker. I also got join Easy Taxi apps. So far so good. But good or bad things have to come to an end.

At least you are very well trained liao..not many can drive kimgu..if you ask my ex chief..he run far far..so for you, anytime driving other cabs is as easy as ABC

today my frns kimgu kena 5 veh chain collision at pie
he 2nd veh 3rd veh msia car he's kimgu only rear bumper damage his front no damage n 1st veh bumper damage
SMRT ask him park veh at hq after accident n his veh left 3mths more to scrap
bro since u drive SMRT any idea wat they will do next? I don't think they will repair the kimgu rite? since going to scrap soon
plus deposit gone or got chance? I read once u post tat they also ask td to pay? any advice?

if not wrong, head to rear should be 2k but if the company wants to play smart, and since the vehicle also suffer damage and hit from behind, they may deem repairs not viable because project negative returns in the short run and straight declare total loss which is 3k..so in the end, company pays out nothing, upfront suck the driver payout total loss, plus eat whatever remaining value on the gone vehicle, then later on still can claim the behind vehicle as much as they can, and soon available a new quota. win win win win

say can get abt 3k n their commission is 20%
my frn said no thanks n wondering how they got his hp no
got broker for all tis also ah?

say later can claim n bcoz he hit the 1st veh
they saw the veh cam too
they gona repair his veh which is going to be scraped in 3mths
never really ask in details as he was in a bad mood...

Yeah true. 2nd car pay 1.2k + 1.4k ( 3rd party claim ). 1.2 k is for own demage repair cost. Now its increase to 2k + 1.6 k for this year. Car only 3 months to scrap , no replacement taxi. SMRT tell driver to take epica or hybrid. Many taxis return liao coz rental too high.

This is a validation of Personal protection Data, you can call police or the commsioners and sue them. -
On the other hand, we do not encourage drivers to solicitate with all these 3rd party insurance, if you are not at fault, all claim can be done by the company, all these 3rd party insurances just like to prey on taxi drivers, especially those lau lau, ai koon koon drivers like me and my ah fool, so please do not get trick by it. In any insurance claim, there can only be one claim, if you are not happy with the claim, you engage lawyer to sue the companies insurance, be it cdg or tc. Once you engage ah beng insurance...companies will hand off everything

Than they work with those licence lawyer firm.....
They suppose to help you claim what you deserve, like workman compensation like that mah.....
Not only TD, private owner also got their right to claim what they deserve also.....
But don't know why, most time, small small injury can claim until hundred of thousand.....
