12 points for 1 year if more then 12 points then become 2nd suspension.
After 2 years without any offense then the 1st suspension record with be deleted from systems become clean record again.

Gentlemen, pte driver I do not want to mention, but as taxis driver, we earn our living on the road, we must acknowledge that it is our bread and butter issue, just like another commerical drivers on the road, from bus to delivery van to trailer, we put foods on the table for our family by plying most of the road in Singapore. It is therefore, as a TD top priorty to avoid as much possible (touch wood) accidents and traffic offences, as a TD, you must make the motto every day or night before driving by telling yourself, have a good driving, be careful, steady, calm and patient. So that everything you want to chiong,..you think back your motto, everytime you want to sudden cut..you think back yr motto,...everytime you want to make illegal turn and so on..you think back yr motto...I can assure you that before long, this will help you to evade all these traffic offences and banging, and it will become your habit, a good habit. Cases of accident and offences happen 1. sleepy 2. changing shift time 3. on call/on grab 4. last pax 5. pax urgency 6. poor time managment 7. tired by refuse to rest 8. high target
