A car almost collided into Stomp contributor Chua's taxi in the early morning of May 25 (Sun) when it suddenly appeared from his left.
The Stomp contributor thus would like to caution all road users to be careful and to look out before proceeding when the traffic light turns green.
He said:
"I am a taxi driver and was travelling along Jalan Boon Lay towards Jalan Bahar on May 25 (Sun) at around 4am.
"Upon reaching the cross-junction of Boon Lay Way, I stopped under the MRT track.
"When the traffic light turned green, I drove forward.
"However, a red car suddenly appeared from my left and we almost collided.
"The three male passengers in my taxi witnessed it too.
"All road users, please be careful. Do not proceed immediately when the traffic light turns green."
