Cabby and driver argue after car hits taxi at Jalan Bukit Merah
A car hit a taxi in the rear near Jalan Bukit Merah this afternoon (May 25) at around 12.45pm.
Stomper rajesh, who had been at the scene, saw the drivers of both vehicles arguing.
He told Stomp:
"Today afternoon at around 12.5pm, one car hit a taxi near Jalan Bukit Merah.
"Both drivers were slightly arguing about paying for damages."
who ah? own up!

Not really, if people got cam to prove that cab suddenly jam brake for nothing or reverse..it can be 50/50 or cab driver fault. If TP or police come, aiyo..more worst, driver can be fine and point deducted

In taxi driving, especially in today cam society, in any accident deem to pay $200 and above, please report to your company, remember the key phrase. Taxis do not belong to you.

how can? even got car cam, taxi driver can say his vehicle got unusual noise, never jam brake (till tyres screech), then u whack the rear, where is your safe distance?

Ya lah suddenly jam break buay sai? In front I see an ant cross road jam brake buay sai? Thought hit rear means confirm 100% liao no meh?
I remember once I buay song with an old man driving a brand new Mercedes knn want to change lane dun want to give way. See who's balls bigger loh so I still continue squeezing my way into his lane until mirror to mirror squeeze my way in. After cutting in fully into the lane lim peh jin tulan suddenly zam big brake and he rear ended me. Come down he kpkb me zhor smlj. I just took pictures and tell him nicely dun talk so much. Want to report or settle on the spot $500. He lan lan take out cash on the spot and we sign the mutual settlement form.

Can also be the cab reverse back...I ever saw a cab miss a slip road turn near a junction reversed back to filter out..(can also see the pax scolding him) and a van from the back come in..then bang..van got cam...who wrong? Cab on cam shown reverse white light hor..that is why i said, if you miss a turn, carry on to U turn back later, kenna fark, kenna fark lor..what to do, give discount, if not kenna bang...worst than a month income

If you reverse against the flow of traffic, is an offence hor.....
If accident resulting in death, will go jail 1 hor.....
Jam brake and reverse very different leh.....

Stomper most likely not ever a car driver...maybe an Indian national who dunno nothing but want to get that $50 from stomp as best stomp of the month..but he knew that in the public, many hate TDs, so maybe his stomp can get popular and get that $50. And than worst of all is our cb queen mod also go and post such minor issue..haiz
