Today I just take my TDVL TEST at Kim seng road.
Pass m1 , m2 , m3
fail m4 (test & retest) 21/30
Any seniors here got any tips for me??
Taking retest tomorrow morning 9am...

You shouldn't ask for senior advise, must ask for those recently been taking test 1.....
Our time and your time where got same?.....

Just memorise 40 routes lor.....

unless u are not road savvy, hardly drive or take bus, then it will be a challenge.
but usually u MUST know the sequence order of the route, else when u in real life, u will not be as simple as retest, or say sorry to pax and take it as nothing happened

If I can remember all 40 routes I won't be failed twice...
I drive of cos during normal days. But not driving whole Singapore la. Haha. Places of Singapore I know how to go but just I dunno the road name...

You got 1 year to take your test. Unless 1 year u can't pass la.

you just got to go thru a short period of time to work it out.

which TD here do not lan lan, study hard to pass the test.
(although many will cannon, telling you they not need to study one)
this is a test of discipline, not a test of smartness
for me, i spend a day, one whole day (before the test) to study
do you have a day or two for a future in Taxi Driving?

u dont hv to remember all 40 lah
take the longest 30 & remember.
u can remember u will pass.
do ur math.
the other 10, got a few short routes, no need remember 1.
this test is so stupid.
so unless in real life.

Routes are best remember when you visited it, on map and book are just fairytales, so, inorder to remember, and since you are also driving, go to all these 40 routes, takes u maybe 3 to 4 days only, each route, you go down and take a long hard look, then refer to the map, see the surrounding...I can tell you, forever you will remember the routes. And when you become a TD and drive taxis, there are hundreds and thousands of roads for you to remember, how?

40 routes initially ish kinda difficult for peeps to remember when 1st taking test. Just put in extra hard work if you think TDVL is worth-while. You may pass the 40 routes eventually but when you are on the road...amazing. everyday is learning new routes, be it from west to east or...blah blah....
the truth is always remember the landmarks...will really help you alot.
sometimes i just want simple earnings, camp @ my fav area; JULONG. and hope for 5K per month. hahaha.

I passed after 9 months through several attempts for my TVDL.
If i can do it,you can do it too.

Pass is another thing. Everybody thought after passing. taxi drvg easy money.after a while . realise not so easy.then start throw key!

No need to memorise de lah. Ya my time still wu bus orientation. Half time break is at Amoy Street tio bo? Think 10 years never change before.

Haha now no more bus orientation liao Lo. But I heard that there are some changes soon. The 40 routes may change to 60 routes as now got new MCE. Lucky I cleared mine. If not become big head!!! Haha..
