I'm on a break, says cabby who parked at Rivervale Plaza taxi stand

Stomp contributor onetousandandone saw a taxi parked at Rivervale Plaza taxi stand while its driver was out on a break on Saturday night (May 10).

The Stomp contributor waited for about 15 minutes but the driver still did not return.

The Stomp contributor said:

"I spotted a taxi parked at Rivervale Plaza taxi stand at around 9pm on May 10 (Sat).

"I took a look inside the taxi and realised that the cabby driver was out on a break, as seen on his display monitor.

"He shouldn't misuse his rights by parking at the taxi stand and going for his break.

"I waited for about 15 minutes and he still did not return.

"A taxi stand is for taxis to wait for their passengers to board.

"He shouldn't use the space as his parking lot."

Private car park at TS is wrong, but we as TD are not united, what to do? he wait for him, he wait for the next one, him wait for she..who got time to stomp it beside those jiak ba buy bao ah keep this type of people, then maybe we can see pte car get stomped. Anyway, let be clear on this, as long as you block the Taxi stand smooth flow, you are wrong, Taxi stand is for taxi to pick and drop passenger, not for driver to park there and do errant. As for Pte car, you see one, take picture and stomp it, if all of us do it, guess, stomp will get jammed up with it,...and the gain for us will be, no more complain on Taxi at taxi stand, no more pte car on taxi stand

But such web also help to improve many other discipline, so there are pros and cons in it, we hv to admit, the cabby is wrong, and when we put ourselves as the pax there, how frustrated will we be, and when there is a way to flash our frustration, people will go for it, and Stomp provided that way for them, and like it or not, the world had changed, if not at stomp, it will be on U tube, if not will be on sgforum and so on. You cannot prevent it from happening, i bet when someone in the public offended you, you might curse and swear to put him in stomp or video it to put on facebook, twitter and so on. ANd since we cannot prevent it, might as well join in and be wary of our surrounding, even pulling up our pant can get stomped by those si ginas....lols
