Tomorrow going to give notice.
wife kpkb he spend too much time outside driving. Hardly see him at home. He does bring home the dough, but wife feels like husband is 'dead'.
he's been OMO most of the time as relief come and go after a few weeks, and he's sick of all these relief aeroplane here and there, so OMO.

i person carry the whole cost. If one shift, at least got time for family and other things. If OMO, longer hours to secure the same income as u need at least 2hours to cover the extra cost.
lazy or sick don't drive eat into savings faster also

Set target lower so no need to drive like siao lang. Benifits of OMO includes having a car at your disposal. If you drive half shift and buy a car then nett nett income will be even lower consider the cost of cars nowadays.

Throw key n get what job? If got good , or just ok job, why not? Can have long weekend, paid leaves, mc, cpf etc... oh, how I miss my last job :p

ONce you too long in TD, you can kiss goodbye to those working life job, unless you ungraded and managed to get a job that pay well within a year or 2, otherwise, you will find it awkward to listen to someone giving you order like you are a dog. TD is divided into 4 parts 1. The Anxiety, this one for newbies, eager to start, heckcare OMO or relief, just want to try it out, everything like disneyland feeling. 2. The Storm, this one is the realization of driving difficulty, chiong all the way, set profit target higher and higher, go wrong road, forget this and that, drive like a blur mad dog, who also go pick, end up in senoko or tuas still driving around to pick up people..lols, but the consolation is cash, cold hard cash in hand, feel so wonderful. 3. The Cooling, you start to know the road better, start to reduce target, start to know where to go and pick or take call, start to keng, start to do jungle training like my former chief and me..the bak bak land, slowly become more and more lazy, start to grumble, complain and somehow, feel like missing something 4. The Sunshine, after sometimes, it either you decided to throw key or drive on, if you drive on, TD is no more a problem to you, everyday same shit but different assholes only

Actually he never set it high, just nett 150. This is easy when there's a relief, but now there's isn't, he spends more time to cover the extra cost.
car at disposal, u need to make $ with it before u use it for personal use, if any. Else it's a big liability

$150 nett not high? That's $4500 a month leh. Realistic target should be between $80-100 lah. He think $50 more easy to get? I only set $50 a day sometimes bo mood $30 like bowah happy liao. Enough for my makan and ciggy. Lol

Than they will stick to TD and 怨天怨地 lor.....

Any tom and dick that come into taxi driving will immediately get an average of 3k per month cold hard cash, unless he or she is super jia bak buy bao type like me and many others here. Given a job even at 2k, 8 to 5, shift, OT, demanding, discipline, many rules and regulation and must wear uniform or working suit. It will not be appealing to a person who can drive a taxi. -
But in term of long run, working life can out beat TD, some after 10 to 15 years working, supervisor/ oldbird already, taking 4 to 5k home, CPF, medisave, annual leaves, and many other benefits will certainly out pace a TD. This is for those who are still young and wanted a brigher stable future, do think of long term instead of short term gain. But if people like me and yandao keepthechange this type, BJ and my former chief type,...forget about it, either drive or throw key
