haha j007. im not omo la. i started off as relief once i got my TDVL around last year in Dec. at that time, my ex-hirer wants me to drive 5 - 6 days ...but i told him i can only commit 4 night nia.
that time, i really tried all different days. no matter how chiong im, i always tell myself to keep car @ most 1am or 1.30am cause next day have to start work @ 8am. At that time, 1st week manageable....slowly 2nd week, 3rd week....starting to CMI.
i chiong for 2 months, before CNY...until that time, coy want me to run 12 hours shift...so bo bian, want to switch to super relief, but my hirer say cannot. So i told him no choice lo. Anyway, i found a new hirer, way better than my previous one.
No matter what kind of partnership, as long pay rental, the taxi maintain as what you get before driving, and return the original state after you drive can liao.

Point are point, it is your expectation, and your expectation might end up unable to meet, and that turn to frustration and anger leading to unpleasant partnership. We therefore must set tolerance of flexibility in our life, not only in Taxi driving, and that must be communicated, be it your family, work or driving, people, your wife, your childrens, your colleague, your partner must at least know your limitation, so do you, you need to understand their limitation, however, all these take times, and times will decide the partnership. So if one day, your relief accidentally counted $10 less in the rental? how? cut the partnership, start to distrust your relief which eventually lead to no flexibility in life expectation

Weekend most hirer might throw rental, or some just drive a few hrs to break even, lost a bit nevermind. Otherwise, no only cannot get relief, if got, give those half fark type relief, more worst, so, most of them just relax and enjoy the weekend. Like me, park at MBS one hor

U can see many on busy with people inside, happy chatting away.
can see many go shopping, go beach, go turf club..
come on lah, no peak hour, so it's telling u, no incentive to drive, no crowd. Time to rest .
evening peak then come out, cover cover cost also faster if u not the kind that throw rental.

haha. i was kinda surprised that AP was overwhelmed with taxis last night. I wonder how CBD suffers when all the taxis are Q-ing @ AP.
As for me, me only la. I am taiko TD, haha. I only scavenges neighbourhood pax.

hmm actually depends on timing la. $5 bucks around 9-10pm, but have to camp for 1 hour, mai la. actually have to see the Q also, is also heng suay. usually camp at least 1/2 hour, but go Pasir Ris. really can drop tear...especially around 11pm...odd hour some more.so that 1 hour, you earn at most less than $20. or abit more...worst case scenario. haha.

AP is only when you sent someone there, then bo bian, Q abit lor, if not go back empty, like seibei bo meaning. Then when you are sending pax to pasir ris, tampines or even simei, if street pax are low, then can go AP lor. But for cdg, before going ap, ting ting liao

if q is short after drop pax, ok lah. Otherwise it's just another destination.

Depend the time lah, sometime at 5pm, you see many green cab moving out, you think long Q, no lah, most kenna last trip to AP, then quickly go changi north or loyang put fuel and end their shift, mostly all chiong back. My hirer also like this, last minute, get a AP from woodland, see timming, left 45 minutes only, chiong ar...then after earn the last pax, chiong down ap flyover toward TPE and PIE, taxi drive too fast, swerve and hit side barrier on top the fly over, jialat liao..jam until all kpkb.. So, depend hor, sometime AP Q until main road, but 1/2hr all clear liao..

AP very individual la.....
Some TD sit inside taxi, don't like to cum out type, AP sure don't like to queue lor.....
Some don't like to load luggage type, also won't queue lor.....
Some TD don't like to drive expressway type also won't queue lor......
And most important, some TD England beh siew type also won't queue lor.....
I got 1 friend, start shift only ply in the north, whole shift can just stay within north zone.....
Don't ask me how he did that, but end shift, his income beh su a lot of us, don't even need to use Cashcard.....

Like me, only ply west and north west, $30 net, but still put cashcard, for EPR parking purpose. Taxi are freelance business mah, so it up to each business man to decide what they want to do, as long as paid rental promptly, can liao
