Relief go bang cab at carpark
got dented,best part last yr also same area dented by him
but not serious,I close one eye
tis time dent bigger
yesday sms me to inform
say he will pay for repair
today call me come down see whether need to repair or not
saying dent only but paint never out later can cover wit
advertisement sticker WTF?
bumper also got many minor dents by him
but me just chin chai la
told him nicely wat if I wana return cab next time?
whos gona pay? he not happy show black face n go wrkshop for repair
iam so disappointed with his cb attitude
i was never a fussy hirer n he knows tat
even wen he sick or go med appt I never take rental fm him
every yr CNY 4days took leave I also never ask rental
now wana act yao untill like tat.....
30yrs driving experience somemore n wana makan me
now cab at wrkshop not sure whether he will put today's rental or not
best part ask me to go collect cab myself in the evening wen it's ready
i feel sometimes be too nice also not gd wait kena makan

It is not about being too nice or not, but as mature peoples, we need to reason out the issue, nice or not nice is more of an emotion and one sided expression. Long ago, I already gives lecture on partnership and human relationship, that time, my ex chief said I write too long, lor sor...man. In short, in any relationship, there will be a starting follow by a storming, normaly and then spring again. First, very friendly, then thing start to brew and screw up, the storm arrived, and depend on how you tackle it, somehow it will normalise itself and then Spring arrive no matter whether you sack him or he is still with you. You should therefore reason things out with him like a man, not a nice or agressive man, but as a man you use to be, speak out your mind of what you want, if relief decided to throw key, so be it, but if you keep quiet and expect relief to perform ideally to your style and believe in the word (ze tong) "automatic" that relief should do these and that, or that due to years of his experience, he should know what to do, then I can say that you are just guessing, hallucinating and blinding believe that he will do automatically, which if he did, then is fine, But in this case, he did not, so it is better you talk, open your mouth and speak ur heart out, nice or not is another issue.

just met him awhile ago,yesday already he agreed to send cab for repair in the morning as wrkshop opens at 830am
i even gave him the wrkshop add but dunno wat happen today10plus he call me to come down n see again whether need to repair or not after removing part of the advertisement sticker
he insist tat later cover with advertisement sticker cannot see dent liao
i said no better to repair bcoz I never know wen I throw key
he not happy say kk then leave reach wrkshop call me n ask me to collect in the evening
wft man? u bang u pay la steady way
now even ask me go collect.....

As I said earlier he knows tat iam a chin chai type person
tats y he wana makan me imagine he kena those super calculative type hirers
i don't think he will dare to try.....
i think he just screwed up our partnership so in future no more adjusting liao
sick/med appt/leave all need to pay rental
no more mr nice guy liao wahahaha
cb later need to travel to wrkshop to collect cab
waste my time n cab fare for something un necessary

I just find your relief really f up. 1 should be responsible if he drives your taxi and bang into other car.
rather than say upfront want to pay but twist in the end.
This kind of partnership hard to carry on la.

just collected cab he never put rental n pump diesel
he drove 40km somemore since taking over in the morning
logbook never update
morning 10plus he sent cab to wrkshop
repair cost $140 he paid
rest he act blur
nvm la as I said b4 no more close eye liao
ill be calculative fm now

Actually for this case, you shldnt charge him the whole rental. $130 for repairing the dent is cheaper than mine. I paid $150 because of the stupid valet driving the kuku porsche out and hit my left side light. In the end i got dent, but the porsche right bummer gone....i see liao. Dont know want to laugh or feel pain. Haha. I got ask around for my case, mostly is 50-50. What to do? At that time i also ask myself why must pay the damage? In the end pay 150 to fix the dent. Told myself money still can earn back, dont brood over it. Most impt is must have good relationship or partnership with hirer or relief. Like what bowah says... my hirer even charlie makan me..i see a few dollars, less than 10 dollars i just let go.
As for your case, just sms him to update the logbook. As for the rental, is up to u. The daily rental minus ( the rental divide 12 hours x The hours in the workshop) will do. I think is fair but its my own opinion.

If you decided to have a relief, lay down whatever market practice lor.....
Than if you never lay down your requirement, how can you expect the other party to appreciate your kindness?....
Most likely, everyday in kopi shop tcss, he will tell his kakis how stupid and gong is his hirer.....
For example, if I out of goodwill, tell my relief don't need to wash car everyday, of course he will say thanks god....
But if I never stated that, becos I'm chin chye hirer, than don't expect the relief to say thank you to you lor, most time, they will act blur, act stupid lor, than everyday for sure the taxi won't be wash.....
Than you quoted this type of relief as taiko? Think about that.....

he just dump veh at wrkshop n ask me to pick up,never bother to pump full tank b4 sending to wrkshop

we all are just suggesting the alternatives but still have to say la. It depends on situations la. Like pumping diesel...how much can you charlie makan? Sometimes raining season, dont even need to wash taxi... ^_^
both parties are still earning for the living, regardless of which coy also...all Taxi companies CB one la. haha. Where got look after drivers one...
i wont say hirer / relief got any pros/cons. just that have partnership, hirer stands to gain due to the rebates...what will the relief get? some view hirer is better, but on the other hand, relief has no liability. so no end to this debate ... haha. of course there are other sources of income...
if really one day, taxi companies really pay cpf to drivers,......i cfm throw letter. They should pay taxi drivers based according their daily earnings and pay the percentage rather than the mileage covered.

My hirer used to tell me, one month two days of half of half rental, third day onwards, pay full shift rental
i think humans always try to take advantage of situation where possible

well, as what my hirer says when i used to get the dents from my previous accident. Company will hold him liability if he returns the car, and he's not sure whether when will he returns the key. It can be any time. that's how he told me this in the face, of course no hard feelings but that's life.
When the taxi company loans you the car in one good shape or at least maintains what it's, it's best when you throw the keys back, the car still retains the shape what it was before.
so most of time, when out driving, please be vigilant. but as time goes by, all drivers tend to be more slacked and relaxed....that's where things happen.
if partnership cannot carry on, best look for new hirer/relief.
