Ban walkie talkie?

Hearsay, a "big" and "reputable" taxi coy have ban their TD from using walkie talkie while driving their cab.....
If is true, is time they show their colour and kill off all talkie groups.....

This one long long have already lah, just like hp, do you know that even blue tooth and ear piece, also can get caught up. It is the same principle as hp, the understanding with LTA and TP is, as long as you stop and make or listen to call, it is ok, while moving or on the road (including jam and junction stop), you are deem wrong. LTA or TP will summon u as usual as those with hp, dun play play, abt $400 hor. For cdg, LTA and TP will also inform the company, the penalty for cdg is immediate cease contract. Once you tia kong or hearsay something, it mean that someone had kena and start to do the whistle blowing. Unless like today private car whereby most are handless and cordless, hp blue toothed with their DVD or ICE speaker, then, that will not be an issue. And most private car have this facilites, if not, very hard to sell

hee.. mai la. mai la. for $20 bucks you do reporting? they want they have tonnes of $, go hire and catch those ppl.1 thing boost economy also, 2nd thing is job creation. This kind of idea i provide surely get nobel prize one. nowdays so many ppl with asset - rich, $ poor, this kind of idea sure make those jobless ppl happy.

This one long long I already said, Walkie is going to be a sunset issue, but nevermind lah, can still use Handphone with speaker on mah, I hv been using my old nokia hp with speaker on, then the call will come in, then no need to press here and there, just press one button, "hello, Ah bowah siao, fullerton fullerton...ai mai" if accept just reply "7mins" followed by using yr mouth to produce a sound "tuu" (meaning Roger), then the operator will also said "tuu" instead of OVER. If do not accept, just said "tuu" with no timming. -
To curb walkie usage is never a LTA or TP rules, it is these Taxi companies wanted it, firstly, let get this straight, my arguement with them was...do u hv the right to prevent/stop a person personal belonging and usage, using a Talkie can be for many purposes, like TCSS, where got bak bak, and where got p n g. 2nd, please define improper usage of walkie talkie, where can use and where cannot use, if said in companies' cab cannot use, fine,..I can use it when I am out of the cab. Like smoking, define the boundaries on where can smoke and where cannot smoke.
