Revenue for ComfortDelGro’s taxi business rose by 6 per cent to US$1.2 billion. In Singapore, where it is the largest taxi operator, revenue was 8.2 per cent higher at S$892.4 million due to the higher rental income from a larger fleet, an increase in new replacement taxis and a higher volume of cashless transactions.

ya. it's usually the case. gimmick advertisment mah. Usually when attending the course, ppl will start gossiping which coy to choose.
CDG is like gahmen like that. 2 times accident = bye bye to you.
From my past few months of driving, usually SMRT drivers more hiong than transcab. On the road, can tell SMRT dont like CDG. Got once, driving along serangoon, the prius marcham road rage, see yellow cab want to speed up and over take me. Of course i cannot win, i know the fact. I just let go, let him overtake me.

Now you mention, i actually contacted one of my class mates back then, till now he still havent pass. feel pity for him though. He knows the route but he's v v weak in english.
Actually matter of fact, when we were taking the course, all of us feel awwww, thinking once pass liao can start to be yaya-papaya driving.
Who knows? once started driving, start of nightmare...haha.

This only a revenue, in some business, income is high, but cost of operating is also high, ending with less earning than expected. Like higher rental prices will be offset by higher COE purchasing, wages and so on

CDG got 1 of the best administration sarpork for taxi drivers, we can't deny that.....
Everything is in proper channel......
From giro to cashless to downtime to paper work to workshop to whatever whatever......
No other taxi coy can match so far.....
Many TD after angry or tulan or what left CDG go drive other coy than realised, waw piang certain issues practice so differently.....
Just for example, once your taxi breakdown, log in to workshop, downtime started, and straight away off set from rental hor, other coy where got so good, some take 1 week, some take few weeks, and rental still subject to pay hor.....
1 thing for sure, CDG, they do understand certain constraint from the TD.....
Of course, they got ton of money mah.....

yes, if you have any problem with their individual dept, just email to the dro, very fast that dept will get fuck and call you back to get things done very quickly, other taxi coy even you want to give them biz to rent their taxi, they don't give a dam at all.......worst, call cannot reach, email no reply.....

Many say u start with CDG, u can't be wrong. Easier platform to start. Cost maybe slightly higher, but with high bookings, aka extra $, still worthwhile.
till u are sacked by them, u go other coy. From there u are seasoned enough to be on your own in the real world.
hearsay also an unfair statement , other colors are usually rejects from CDG, or prefer a no government coy to work with.. Esp to the reds, most are "rough people"... I was confused and wondering how true is this statement

I start with Transcab because I dun like diesel taxi. Hate the noisy engine.

Then after about 2 years switch to CDG limo because although diesel the sound insulation is good and sit inside still very quiet and not because I want to drive limo. Reason to change company is because that time the CNG levy kicks in and company did not absorb the levy hence very expensive.
Then after a year driving for CDG find that their pax is very different from Transcab. All very yaya and sia lan. Little bit threaten to compain...So was thinking of switching back for a while until the unfortunate incident happened and lim peh tio pok....
Still remember the last day before returning vehicle I took an advance booking from Robertson Quay area condo to one of the famous internation school. It was my last trip before returning cab swee swee. That day I not wearing limo attire, anyhow wear. Then this pax an ang mo char bo book my cab. Sibeh sia lan.
Reach school just flip out a credit card. Never indicate on booking or ask me before hand. Just flip out the card in my face. Lim peh buay song tell her machine spoil. Then she says she no money. So I offer her drive to ATM withdraw cash she die die dun want. Ask her borrow from colleagues she yell at me she is a teacher why must go borrow? Then we kpkb each other then she shout at me again that she is not going to pay and she is going to complain to my company and MAKE SURE I LOSE MY JOB!!!
Then I buay song liao just move my vehicle and she jump off!!!
So I park my taxi and go in bang table to the recept and demand to see any person in charge. She called their GM and usher me to a room to wait. After a while the GM came and ask me what happen? I told him the whole story with the details of the teacher and phone number from my MDT. He then give a a few pictures to ID the person. Like police station ID like that. After the positive ID of the CB he then proceed to pay me the fare and apologise to me.
After that I went back shoot an email to the school higher managements (Principal, CEO and some board members) to demand an answer for the incident. Not long after they terminated the teacher as she is not a full time teaching staff but on contract basis. SONG BO!!!

That is why, so many Fallen Talents in Singapore who actually believe that Singaporeans are poor, stupid and work like slave, believe me, there are thousands of Anston's characters out there, just that too bad Anston went public and get caught pant down. Those farker CB we met alot lah, got once, my daugher bought me a starbuck coffee, packet, (limpek where go drink SB), so, I left is on my cup holder, picked one ang mo young guy on call at East coast to siemen kallang, nabey, he commented, "Hey, you drive starbuck or use starbuck cup with local coffee?" Reached siemen, limpek throw the whole half empty cup on their lobby, the ang mo look scared, the guard also lan lan, then tell him, not only I can drink SB, I can also throw their coffee away as i like. -

Actually hur ....I have fetched many ang mos...mostly good ones. Only got one time ..... cb pui. My story ...... One time queue at MBS tower 3 and I was like the forth vehicle in the queue. Then saw the bell boy interviewing the taxis in front and subsequently wave at me. I thought got durian drop....saw one ang mo pax with luggage. Bell boy asked if I can accept credit card. Upon reaching AP, his credit card kena reject by machine. He told me no money. Later his pattern come out, insisting to leave and not paying. He fxxk me saying I waste his time. I fxxk him back. Later both of us came out of taxi and nearly fight. AP police came by and then brought him inside to take cash from his credit card. Later he came out...and throw the money on the floor....knn ccb .. I lan lan pick up the money and hurl some vurgarlities at the CB kia...

Not being racist here, but I believe we met all kind of lousy pax from all kind of races including locals, but the differences is that locals at least treat us with respect, argue only, but foreigners, I mean those lousy ones, tends to disrespect us, mostly our notice such kind of act are from countries whereby their TD are consider the lowest class of the society, and that is why they think or thot that we are the same..but knnccb, limpek more rich then them hor -
arya, to be neutral also. Some TD also cb one la. drive on the road, can see that when they want to overtake you but dont signal. Good, face me 1 to 1, unless you signal i sure give you, else wait long long. You signal, meaning good driving habits i sure close 2 eyes and let you overtake me as i know you are in a hurry.
I ever come across 1st lane, one TD from 2nd lane signal speed up to close 100km/hr, one to overtake me. i tot he in the hurry so i slow down and let him through....best part is? after he overtake, he slows down maintain at 90km/hr and there are not even any cars infront of him.
Angry, i overtake and look at him lo.
