maybe kimgu size scare ppl.....
Bro getcarter, Kimgu seldom pick up from the streets. We normally do our private jobs, ply airports and counters. When we do that, our price is fixed. The price varies. For streets we seldom go to taxi stands coz of rejection from normal pax. Kimgu have its niche market. Nothing happens to Kimgu when we reject streets pax.
Bro benqepson, i agree with you, but once a while i see kimgu Q at taxi stand. Same goes for crysler.
usually @ night, around 9 - 10pm pass by holland road leadin to orchard sure got hungry pax flagging for taxi. Can try luck there if you guys dont know where to find. hee.

This one different
he omo n never use veh for family purpose
he'll drive 12-14hrs per day(day only)
sometimes got pte booking but most of the time
he queue at ap for long hrs
even if drop pax at jurong he'll drive down to ap empty
He's a very hardworking guy but to me if he puts the same long hrs on a normal cab
he could earn more
How about Maxi or Merc?
Any members willing to share their view on the above 2 cabs?

I think anyone deserve a break in life after driving for so many years. When Mpv or Maxi go into Ap Q in normal Q actually they are fishing. Sometimes in normal Q we get tourists with more than 4 person going to hotel. At the same time we tell stories and then pushed name cards. Meter flag down is $3.90 and jumped 30 cents. We explain to them the limo rates which is point to point. The price varies. If they are Ok then we take care of them until they return to Ap departure. At Ap limo counter , the rates are $60 but most tourists prefer Maxi. So normally Mpv will not support unless they need us. Payment of Ap levy is $8 by ezlink card.
In Sg, 7 seated cab still not so popular demand yet.....
Maybe akan datang lor.....
In KL, you will see more and more 7 seated cab hor......
Originally posted by bowah:KL can jam for hours, 7 seaters may provide more space for them, human emotion to confine space can become eratic with prolong hrs inside a small cabin, that is why KL 7 seater provide a more spacious conditon.
In singapore, as long as you can get me from A to B, I careless you smlj seaters, moreover, the paxs here are very scare of big big cab, one big cab on Q only, you notice and see the paxs at Q start to count themselves liao, count if knn him or herself.
What Bro Bowah said of pax who do not want to take limo taxis at taxi stand is true. Well for example at Vivo Giant taxi stand. Over there, the pax die die must wait for normal taxis to come even though no taxis are coming in for more than 30 mins and the queue at 7-11 is getting longer. Those who cannot stand waiting , will give up and take the Mpv taxis which charges $50 whether far or near for one stop only.

Jam is only part of the reason.....
KL is kan si lang big hor, especially if you want to go some of their industries area, easily 100-200km away.....
So long distance if sit inside a small saloon car, ka chng also will tear.....
As for Sg, go to Tuas South also like that, how far only, even you from Changi Cargo to Tuas South Ave 14, 50 km still got change, but funny thing is, a lot of maxi cab like to do Tuas South business leh.....
dont pway pway for msia roads....can cry one. No kidding. Sometimes U-turn, also must go 2 big rounds to go back to your own preferred route. 1 u-turn about 20-30 mins, depending on your driving speed and road conditions....if day raining, ok la. if night no rain, can cry..sometimes the signboard also bring u ho-lan. when night plus rain lagi level 3 combo hit, this one can cry until tear no come out. Especially when go for makan dinner....
dont pway pway....unless you go msia often.
The problem of KL is becos they are actually situated inside a Valley.....
So after so many years of "in proper" developing, they found themselves very difficult to improve their road system, building are scatter everywhere leaving no space for building more road, so they started to build above ground road which circulating around KL city centre.....
Just like Beijing, comprise of 6 ring of road and all the ring road leading to the city centre where Forbidden City is.....
KL can't really do that, but all those above ground road (in Sg, we call viaduct) actually also circulating around KL city centre.....
In other word, if you miss an exit, don't need to panick or u-turn, just keep going and exit from next exit, and some how or rather it will lead back to where you suppose wanted to go.....
Aiya, very difficult to express in words, go drive around KL, than you will understand what I mean.....
You go ask a Malaysian where can U-turn, they will say you siao.....
And always remember, that twin tower is their city centre, no matter how you drive, you will sure see this twin tower, from right becum left becum back, suddenly infront of you again......
As for their old small road, no way they can improve liao, too congested, unless they want to tear down some building to widen them, but all old road will lead to above ground road also.....
