recently i drove 5 yrs old sonata for a week as a temp relief, the pick up and speed really feels like i40 but very noisy engine, $50 rental only...... i40 is a very nice 'family' car, the car is much more stable than sonata, can really feel the difference when negotiating corners, and bumpy roads, i40 got power lah, but the power always come late when you need it... the front windscreen pillars are very thick restricting view, whether you lean forward or backwards also kena blind spot, mdt jack up so high also obstructing view, somemore some hirer still like to hang those ting tong bell at the rear view mirror, before move out of carpark already kena left right centre(view blocked)...... really self tekan leh......... the back windscreen also ridiculously small....... how i wish they have the option for both i40 and i45 instead...........

Sonata is too light in weight.....
Speed fast but cross wind nia, whole vehicle like want to break apart.....
Than I see some old TD fly the sonata like no tomorrow like that, those jiao kia also lan lan......
After midnight, Sonata is no no to me, regardless of the age of vehicle, I rather walk home.....

Don't under estimate old ah pek sonata drivers leh
one time past midnight along upper bukit timah twds clementi rd
just after hillveiw n b4 hume ave the zig zag corners got one sonata
drive damm fast n kap corner without braking
very impressive n skillful
then next traffic light get to meetup the sonata
Shock to see one lau ah pek driving
pull his seat untill near steering somemore
once green light nia he turbo out so fast till
I can only see his rear lights fm far
wahaha
tat ah lau can drive!!

Actually I don't mind they chiong lor, time is money mah....
But also must depend on the vehicle model and make lor.....
If sonata soon soon run at 100km/hr, will be very nice to sit behind lor.....
Knn, most sonata's sparta where got so relax.....
Once hit 120, u can feel the cross wind liao.....

Sonata is the best lah. Still remember the good old days during CNY 2012 when I drove night shift for a period of time. RWS to Jurong to RWS to Woodlands etc... My MDT blink n blink in AYE .... "Please drive carefully" ....lol zai zai sonata ..... hoot 130 to 140 km/hour End of 2012 ... I throw key and knn is bcoz the gear box beyond repair .... after service spoil again....If not I will still be driving weekend part time

When you zai zai 130-140, I'm sitting behind don't think is zai hor.....

since it started when u touch 130km/h mdt onli come out PLEASE SLOW DOWN. now new mdt better nv come anything even u touch 150km/h -

always get compliment from paxs for the nice ride....simi i40 or sonata???

Driving crown and sonata will never match those hybrid in term of noise, which is the main differences, but that can be compensated by the TDs, like me, TCSS with paxs is no 1, end up, even driving crown, pax also said, nice journey, good talks, keep the change

Yr nos 1 does not imply the public must take it as nos 1, must learn to understand the differences btw IMO and IPO hor.
