LKY, when passed away, the legend will continue, Singaporean are not insane people, most of us are hardworking, entreprising and sensible people who strictly abide to laws and regulations. LKY doctrine base on both western and eastern culture of self, family, society and then the nation is a master that people all over the world admired and envied but unable to follow, but of course LKY also got his bads in politics, the way he destroy his challengers is ruthless and beyong a civilised human ethic. The best thing about him is that he walks his talk, unlike current govt under LHL< most of the time TCSS only. For LKY, what he said, he make sure it get done, and in one social aspect which he governed very well in term of peace and harmony, is WORK. He make sure everyone got a job to do, once a person got a job, a decent good pay job, he shall not think or do funny stuff, he shall, as in all human instinct, build his nest, his family and thereby the society and nation. He make sure that the job anyman on the street take must be able to overcome or exceed his spending, as such, when a man pride and dignity is reached, he shall not oppose nor create trouble. And today, most of us hv a job, but the differences is, most of us are underpaid against a backdrop of high cost of living, and that is also why pple are now against the govt, but nevertheless, people still work, and for that matter, when LKY is gone, people will not just throw away their job and protest for changes or make a hell out of Singapore, because LKY already make the base foundation, that is you, your family, the society and the nation you live in must be livable

And most CDF are groom from scholar type, not experience in war type 1 hor.....
