For example, ComfortDelGro has the largest call centre for taxi bookings and well-located diesel kiosks across Singapore.
Could we not have a centralised call centre for all the taxi companies and shared diesel kiosks for all cabbies?
If the companies combine resources, this would bring down their respective operating costs, which would, in turn, allow for lower daily rentals for cabbies.
