Total number of taxi OTR?
recently business like quite poor. From 7am till 5pm can hit between 18-20 pax only. Need to put in more hours to see a nett of 150..

Go to place like Changi Naval Base sure got a lot of people, especially around their knock off hour at 4pm plus

j007 u hirer? hmm..must well drive during the shift change periods....most ppl change between 5pm to 6pm....so usually this period will need your support on the road.

Experiencing same situation like yours Bro j007. Thought bonus came out already should be good as January heard is the best mth. Maybe ppl saving on cab fare for cny. All the best to you.

some calls comes with destination too

Yes, night shift business is good this couple of nights.. slightly lower than weekends.. even if kena cck type of paxs... but still I don't take call..can be better if I take call..

Taxi Business, every year is the same.
After CNY till mid year is the hibernation period.
And you will see many cabby throw key and leave the trade.

It like this one lah, taxi driving income is like a bow and arrow, you stretch the arrow backward...stretch and stretch back..obk, earn less, less intake..then one shot fire it, huat ar! So, i guess now is the stretching time.

Agree that this is a low supply of cabs, but again, even if u can run non stop from 4pm - 8pm, there's just this much pax u can take. Not as if u can get 2 pax going jurong in a cab, collect double fare

Why after CNY will be worse? I didn't quite feel that last year though
its only slower during school holidays and long weekends, otherwise, still ok for me all along

Given you high meter fare, money is there to grab, if bo lang, grab LJ lor.....
Beside those piang timing.....
Bro, be prepare to have this kind of situation for the entire year hor.....
And if sway sway they really adjust the meter, you guys will "die" lagi fast.....

Bro, if this time they adjust metre, still ok.. because nowsaday ppl understand the importance of time... spend some $$$ to get quality time...
I just afraid they do something more drastic to the point that like property agent... a lot of td will die....

Currently, what I see is a slow poison effect (don't need to agree with me).....
High rental, less pax, hard to get relief etc.....
All this are slowly killing off TD on the road.....
Btw, what happen to property agent?.....

Property agent?? Last time even market auntie can also be one... we call them kopi shop property agent.. u wanna join? Tomorrow print name card and u can be one liao...
Now leh... u know i know lah... fyi, i also got license one hor.... just tat i dont do, i get lobang and pass to my partner..me in industrial area...

Tia gong last year more agents did not extend their licence.....
I thought now minimum O level in order to take TDVL? Already kill off a lot of ah beng liao.....

Most taxi coy do have their primary business to sustain.....
People who will sweat is those staffs who are working in taxi department.....
They might lose their job.....

You did not notice now got too much cabs on the road, lots of OMO driving past 10 hrs, ai liu mai life. So, it is good for some to throw back, then you and me can huat. For foreigners to take over, very hard lah, provided 2016, they win all seats

Bro, I remember at 1 time, a lot of class 4 drivers go drive cement truck (during the construction boom time..IR lah, stadium lah)... Then lack of drivers for logistics industry...trailer, containers etc... What happened then? In come PRC drivers...and they are still in this industry...
Who gave them the opportunity to come into this industry???
