  All bros, wondering which route will your take from airport to serangoon garden?

  ECP, TPE, CTE exit AMK AVE 3.

  Or you can choose to go ECP,AYE,KJE,BKE,CTE exit AMK AVE 3 if the paxs want to go sight seeing..

  CTE, Jln Kayu is the longest but fastest way.

  PIE - Eunos - Paya Lebar - Boundary Rd is the shortest way.

  Can also take ECP - TPE - KPE - Tampines Rd - Hougang Ave 3 - YCK Rd. Slightly longer distance than PIE - Eunos.

  PIE - TPE - KPE - exit Tampines Rd - Simon Rd(Next to Kovan Res) - Da Silva Lane - Phillips Ave - Yio Chu Kang Rd - Serangoon Garden Way.

  Shortest direct way and no traffic jam.

  which one? many roads lead to Rome, first is to ask pax, but ask nicely hor..mostly pax will give you 3 answers. 1. Eh, I not so sure, you go by the shortest way 2. Try to avoid those jam, go by PIE and all the other eeees you know that got no jam 3. You taxi driver should know mah No matter how they replied, the next step, you tell them your road, either PIE eunos up or tampines road or old tampines road...and ask them is it ok with them. Once they said, fine..great or ok. whack liao.

  Best is hint the pax pie or tpe at the start.

  But ah Fu, sometime, normal route also kenna fark by pax leh. So if you take other route, tio fark at least got some reason, take normal also tio fark...ai wan

  Take TPE- KPE - old tampines Rd - Hougang Ave 3 - YCK Rd - Serangoon Gardens.

  Anyway, for road wise, aske pax first, then depend on the time of the day or night, recomend to pax, from there decide on the ways within seconds. For me, I will alway prefer a less traffic road. But at end of the day, if pax decided on the road, just follow his or her instruction is the best. And I noticed most pax prefer taxi to move first before talking abt road, so, move slowly out and start asking. Before you divert either to TPE, PIE or ECP, the roads should had been decided, chopped and move on.

  1 final reply from me, before I retire. Knn I thought avoid forumming for some time since so busy then this knn BJ issue bring me back. Knn this forum like the Mafia or what, like what Al Pacino said in Godfather 3 - ' Every time I try to get out, they pull me back in!'

  For SG residents, depending on where they stay, some like to use this method to Airport -Yio Chu Kang ( or Boundary) Upp Paya Lebar to PIE. So they may also refer the same route back. It's logical to use same route to and fro most of the times.

  Unless they stay Li Hwan area or Burghley Drive side, then they may prefer use either AMK Ave 1 or 3 exit, then take the CTE to SLE (or PIE, if Ave 1 normall using the PIE is shorter).

  The return journey would be the same, SLE then exit Ave 1 into Li Hwan ( Cardiff) then to their road. Can use the PIE and CTe but depends on the timing as the CTE can get clogged up at certain times before 11 pm.

  The simple solution is to ask how they went to airport and then ask whether to use the same route back.
