Today morning while travelling along ECP towards Changi , just after the tanjong katong flyover saw a police car and 3 mata standing at the road shoulder and one of them is holding a speed camera facing the oncoming traffic. when i realize them i almost passed them already and i looked at my speedometer is at 100km/h.
Will i kenna summon or not?????
Wah.. they not afraid of death har..I tot they will be at overhead bridge??
Should be ok lah..not over 100km/h yet..
depends on which lane they shooting and which lane you are at
how's the traffic condition, any cars block their view
but i got this feeling you did not kenna
cos not easy to hold steady a speed cam, newbies out of 10 shoots maybe 2 or 3 can register if its hand held ... haha
and furthermore must aim at the number plate, not easy i say
This kind of TP tio extra duty type.....
like in army tio guard duty.....
Jin tulan liao, hand shaky also will shoot you kao kao.....

I don't think so. Those days old camera can only shoot 1 lane at a time. I escaped because I was in the wrong lane along Lornie (doing 110kmh). That camera can only capture 1 lane at a time. Then my friend in TP said they have changed to widescope camera, can capture all 3 lanes.
But TS no need worry if going 100kmh at Tg Katong, that one is 90kmh if I'm not wrong, so plus minus 10-15kmh, they usually let go. Plus your speedo not very accurate if show 100kmh might actually be somethng like 97-98kmh, still quite safe. Just be careful where the signs say 80kmh, that one you drive 97-98, high chance will kena.

Er.. bro, I tot it should be 10% of the speed limit I/o km..
Older TP used to give 15kmh, but yes over 10kmh on camera can be touch and go. Nowadays got a lot of younger officers - all only know how to follow the book.

CCB I also kena once in 2006 - I can remember the day - July 1st England playing Portugal int he WC Q-Final.
Beat Sims Ave X Paya Lebar. But the light just turn red or maybe when I crossed. But the fucker TP don't want to give chance. Appeal also failed to jalan, I told the Appeal Officer, if kena camera I own self own up, but this is 50-50, the officer judgment here only. In the edn only can defer the fine. I settled 6 months later, so balance only 6 months before become clear record again.
But that 1 private car, dunno if Td they give chance, still I dont think so. For TP, catching this is big case, they not mata kia, where can catch thief, robber etc, only can catch moving offence like speeding, beat red light, drink driving or using HP.
So if catch they won't pancan one.

For case where TP is the only the witness for a traffic offence without any evidence. TP will ask u to explain in the court. Has anyone heard or seen any such case charged in court?
